  • the last thing that you had was cheese flavored sausage i think ^^

  • please can you tell me name of the song i really like it:)

  • THAT IS SO SICK-- mmm it's actually pretty good~

    heehee you guys

  • those cheese sticks are like fish sticks... kinda sausage sticks

  • haha that cheese stick you are talking about in the video is cheese flavoured luncheon!

  • what's the song?

    thanks for any answer :)

  • kimbap - onigiri

  • That, folks, is tea eggs! They got a pack of quail eggs, which look like they'd be a b---h to shell. I make (chicken) tea eggs for my husband at least once a month. He likes them (I'm indifferent to them!).

  • i want to try the kimbap triangle!

  • I remember eating those tiny eggs before. xDD I always wondered what they were when I was younger. My sister bought those stick-sausage-things before. :D She got the corn flavored ones. I didn't like them at first. @.@ The packaging for them was impossible for me to open though. xDD;;

  • Uhh guiysss the tiny eggs are preserved quail eggs ;;;;

  • I don't like the "sausages" either... My mom and siblings do tho hahaha

  • oh i thought they were korean sausage.....(the sticks)

  • @misanthropikbunny Never tried them.

  • Whoa! Is that Simon and Martina singing in the beginning?

  • Those are fish sticks.

  • @feariegreen do you like fish sticks?

  • Awwww! Spudgy ate a "sausage" at the end! So cute :D

  • simon looks older here compared to the newer videos lol

  • those quail eggs aren't boiled, they are roasted in low flame for a long time.

  • its quail eggs!^^ i love them!!!!

  • i actually like those "sausage" things :3

  • @cielamour88 haha me too!

  • so what you're saying is... eggs in Korea are brown? :o

  • @KaiUrfaceisstoopid There are brown eggs, depending on the breed of the chicken. :)

  • @someothernoona10 Yeah. The reason why pretty much all eggs consumed in America are white is because they mass breed white chickens. If you buy brown eggs, they are the same except they came from a brown chicken instead. My neighbors have 2 brown chickens and their eggs taste exactly the same. (except a little better since they're fresher)

  • they fed it to spudgy..... :3

  • Those fish sticks taste so wierd! Oh and IM KOREAN so that is the wierd part(lot of koreans like fish sticks)

  • i hated the fish sticks thst was a sasauge to my mom.... :S

  • :] catching up on ur old videos!! teehee!!!

    i see SPUDGYYYY!!!

sausages were my all time fav snacks as a kid.. And still luv them haha!! Just had two.. few hrs ago!! XD

  • Used to love these when I was little, now I think they're totally disgusting too after not eating one of these for 12 years. So yeah, this "sausage" is Made with the rest of edible things in a pork but innapropriate to put on sell (intestines, stomach, inner organs...) mixed with additives I suppose. it has a plastic-like taste, and is ... Kind of elastic. Urg.

  • You should use microwave first before eat kimbap triangle and hamburger... it's not delicious unless those are heated

  • those little eggs are quail eggs. us chinese people have that tooo. I LOVE IT!

  • OMGG >.< i remember the kimbap triangles!! my korean friend used to have that EVERYDAY for lunch, and she'd give me the little kimchi bits... i miss her. *sigh* i hope she's doing well back in korea.

  • Also, most of the Convenience Stores have microwaves and hot water machines

  • meh chu ri ahl = QUAIL EGG. and the other cheese thing is CHEESE FLAVOR SAUSAGE. haha

  • It's just onigiri right

  • Simon you look so tired!

Lol not a good idea watching this late at night, now i'm hungry!

  • i dont think those are cheese sticks. they are meat. i think

  • You guise look sleepy :3

  • That yellow stick is sausage mixed with cheese i love it!!

  • Comment removed

  • umm..i think you're supposed to heat up those burgers first....

  • Haha Lol the eggs are actually boiled in soy sauce and/or tea water!

  • that triangle thing reminds me of onigiri o:

  • 5:14 simon now you know how it feels when someone wont do they same thing you did cough lick the soap cough

  • Those aren't cheese sticks! Those are fish sausages!

  • AWWW! WELL, AREN'T YOU THE CUTEST LITTLE EGGS WE'VE EVER SEEN! YES YOU ARE, YOU SWEET LITTLE THINGS YOU! I'M COMING TO EAT YOU, YES I AM!

    lolololololololol

  • You know, I'm half Chinese and half Japanese and I normally don't like K-Pop... But Simon and Martina's videos make me want to live in Korea in a few years instead of Japan to tutor, and watch the k-pop music videos I never watch. c:

  • It's cool how China, Korea, and Japan have similar foods like the kimbap triangle. I like Korean laver wrapped around Japanese short grain rice :)

  • I love those sauseges! And the quail eggs... -.-

  • at 4:35 its a kind of sausage

  • THATS IT. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THOSE. KIMBAP TRIANGLE!!!!!!! I remembered how delicious those were in Gr.6 when I met my first korean friends. And one of them turns out to be my bff :D

  • Subtitle snyc fail, it appears about 10 seconds faster before you guys speak.

  • the "cheese sticks" are actually fish sausages. they have cheese bits in them.

  • uhh i think those are quail eggs

  • You're supposed to heat the burger...

  • Comment removed

  • you said "try OUUUUUT"....you are canadian..lol :)

  • Have you realized Simon's always like,

"It's not great, but it's not terrible."

  • lol the end

  • the kimbap triangles are like japanese onigiri.

  • yeah the "cheese sticks" are fish cakes.

  • Anyone thinks that Simonandmartina should do a Snack Related Episode everyweek as well? :D

  • kimbap reminds me of SNSD yoona's salty kimbap

  • Me too.. I wish I could go to korea :(

  • ah, i'm jealous of you two :P

i'm korean and never been to korea..

    all that looks good :P

  • I Japan the rice triangle is called onigiri :)

  • if the eggs were chocolate it wold be cool not egg but chocolate

  • Make more of these Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :p

  • You two are so cute :3

  • Isn't that just onigiri? XD It's yummy.. but I only like onigiri plain or with umeboshi.

  • @SHlROl it has a different name in korea

  • @spiffylouise Yes, I know.

  • it's fish

  • kimbap triangulars are practically Japanese onigiri!!!!

  • @cpydiana cool story bro?

  • Comment removed

  • @cpydiana

yup, they're obviously the same thing.

    just different names for em.

  • @310BPM One of the rules of Youtube: You cannot post a video about Korea, showing some kind of food (or anything) Japanese being called by its Korean equivalent name without having at least one twat being an smartass claiming it originated from Japan.

  • @yakurimoe

    Hahaha, yeahhh..

I guess that's true of anything on YouTube. XD

  • @cpydiana loll similar but different. :)

  • @cpydiana who do you think came first bub?!

  • maybe these cheese need to be fried or something >_> it looks so soft

  • so, the kimbap is the same thing as Japanese onigiri?

  • You guys are the cutest. +u+

  • the kimbap looks yummy :D

  • i really wanna try the samgak kimbap looks yummy !^.^

i also wanna try the cheese burger

    lol XD XD

  • hahaha funny

  • lol you were supposed to microwave the cheese burger btw. The bread sort of shrinks and tastes better

  • I bought them all the time when I was in korea =)

tastes really good..especially the tuna one..

  • those are sausages made from ground up fish formed into a shape of sausage... its really good and they are my favorite when i have nothing to eat.

  • is convenience store food cheaper in Korea than in US?

  • when i was at a flight on Korea Air, i sat next to a korean boy and then the stewardess gave us kimbap triangles. i was trying so hard to open it and i can't, so the boy next to me just grabbed it and opened it for me. i said thanks but he didn't say anything...

thank you so freaking much for this vid, cuz after years of trying, now i finally found out what that green triangle was... and i absolutely loved it.

  • 소시지 건강에는 별로 안좋겠지만.. 저거 무지 맛있는데...

  • They're not a cheese stick. They're cheese-tasted sausages.

  • DO NOT EAT THE TERRIBLE BURGER FROM CONVENIENCE STORE!!!

these are not healthy and these are not good!! really.. :(

    just buy from macdonald

  • soo brave!! I would not have taken that big bite of ....fake cheese stick? O.O

  • Omgosh, I love the sausages. ;(

    I miss eating them. XD

  • I'm Korean nd I jst HATE those sausages-.-

  • simon you look terribly tired, w/ all those bags under your eyes. get some sleep!

  • those kimpap things look delicious, you're such an awesome couple :D

  • I hate the fake sausages.

  • Cheese sausage is not kinda typical cheese. just cheese flavor fish cake...or fish sausage.

  • Ducky?^.^

  • The kimbap triangle reminds me of onigiri (:

  • lol that was soooo funny when you guys ate the what was supposed to be "corn flavored cheese" lol

  • aha, those tiny eggs are quail eggs :)

  • People from overseas that come to Australia should (have too) try VEGEMITE~!!

  • lol, i just read @behevolent45 's comment, and im exactly the same, except i want to move to Korea because of Super Junior and SHINee (XD) it kinda sucks that DBSK is no longer together (T.T) but i'm praying for a reunion once SM decides to stop treating them like crap! anyways, it is kinda dumb that i decided to move to Korea because of that, but I've always just really enjoyed traveling, and @simonandmartina make teaching look really fun, and its something ive always considered doing :)

  • I've never been to Korea, but the junk food in Japan is AWESOME. Actually, almost all food in Japan is awesome.

  • I think it is Pekingese abuse to feed that little cutie something so (ugghhhhh....)

The triangle thing looked pretty good tho.

    Do they have Vegimite there?

  • Martina, I love how you call Simon "Ducky" haha so cute.

  • The "chesse sticks" are fish sausages with different flavors like cheese and corn and others.

  • Personely i love the tune triangle kimbap

  • I love those eggs they're so yummy and I can't believe they sell three in one package I'm Korean and I never saw them sell only 3 and they're not cheese sticks they're like fish sausages

  • samgak kimbappp!!! <333

  • those eggs are quail eggs

  • Wow, korea looks so cool! Must visit one day. This may sound a lil silly, but how easy is it to get by (travel, eat, reading signs/labels etc.) without knowing any korean/how much korean is necessary to learn?

About the eggs, the only thing I can imagine that would lay eggs that small is a snake or some weird bird species . . . ?

    Awesome vid, anyhoo. Subbing!

  • wow thats cheap!

so are things over there cheaper or only depending on certain things

  • how much is 700 ?

  • @d2b4eva like...7 cents? lol

  • those cute eggs you're eating,

  • Onigiri.........korean style!!! I love those!!

  • Haha I love ur smile Martina :) lol

  • thoese are actually pressed fishcake sausages HAHAHAHA

  • want to switch convenience stores for a day? Simon can stalk up on ranch dressing and I can stalk up on korean treats ^^

  • my friend went to korea and brought back some kimbap triangles and gave them to us when we opened them they exploded is that suposed to happen?

  • cutest couple ever XD

  • fail on the cheeseburger packet is has a picture of a microwave..i think that means you microwave it XD

  • I read one guy's story who works convineance store. He was sad because one customer. She buys a expensive 'sausage', and gave it to her dog right before his eyes. Plz don't gave some goods for dog at the store, the clerk maybe feels so sad. Anyway, your dog so cute.

  • You two are so adorable together. Thanks for the vid. ^^

  • omg both of you are so funny!!!

  • the "tiny egg" you guys speak of at 3:00 are not eggs from chicken but from "common quail", this information is provided by naver.

  • Umm the " cheese sticks" r actually fish paste sausages that have cheese bits inside them

    Just for ur info

  • wuts the song in the very beginning of the video?! if you could please tell me that would be much appreciated =)

  • Just Wondering Cause I Live in san fransisco at the time and ive been wanting to try the kimbap triangle do you know anywhere they sell them in America ?

  • @KLBTDA go to korean markets like H-mart. or go to a korean town.

  • On the cheeseburger package, it says to microwave for 30 seconds haha, not sure if it will make it taste better or anything but just a heads up!

  • omg you fed it to spudgy!!!!!

  • the egg is actually a wierd partridge (i dunno small egg?) egg i got food poisoning...):

  • i am korean & i live in the states & u guys are sooo cute!!!! i love the way you are not afraid of trying korean stuff ^^

  • Comment removed

  • What song is used at the beginning of this ? Its cute

  • those eggs are quail eggs btw... thats why they're so small.

  • the little 3 eggs used to be my favorite snack!!!!!! ilove it!!!! that is brown because of the soysauce but its sweet :> i want it i sometimes think about 메추리알조림.... miss it

  • lmao @ Martina's face during the cheese stick tasting. hmmm...

  • those kimbap is basically like a riceball you see at Japan

actually a lot of korean foods originated from Japan

and those cheese sticks are fish

  • @loli6051016 i wouldn't say a lot of korean food is from japan. it's just kimbab that's like mainly influenced. a lot of japanese meat grilling yakuniku is influenced from korean's bbq. the thing is that when japan occupied korea a lot of their culture intermingled so their snacks are similar (not the main traditional food)

  • Hey, I live in Poland, so its hard to get korean stuff (im Polish) but I go to an american school, where a new guy from Korea gave me one of those Kimbab triangles. Very awesome, wish they sold them here

  • Hey guys Just so let you know, you can always heat up whatever you buy from the convenience store. There's always a microwave in the very back of the store. No permission required, so you just buy stuff and heat it up. Oh and I believe there's also cold/hot water fountain besides the microwave, so you can use that for ramen etc. My point was, DON'T EAT THAT CHEESEBURGER COLD! :p LOL

  • i love those cheese sausages!!!! they're so good :))

  • You guys must be having bliss there in Korea !

I lived in Korea and the Philippines all my life and now that I've been here in Canada for half a year (BC), I'm realizing that I have so much less things to do here.. I mean, at least I see a lot less 'culture' here. but i get to see and do different things.

Anyways, i'm enjoying the videos you guys made. Keep it up!

  • the sausage is made out of fish paste I believe and that version might have cheese in it...i actually rlly love these...maybe it tasted rly weird cuz u thought it wuz cheese then u ate it...tht or its just getting accustomed or just a weird brand, the ones i eat r a diff brand, it has lik a red strip 4 peeling

  • quail eggs

  • Um, you do know you can ask the cashier to heat it up right? They have a little microwave back there for just that, usually.

  • not really cheese ,,not that bad,,^^ actually it's difficult to find strange food in k-market,,,

  • i think those eggs are also cooked in green tea by what the packaging says :] and those 'cheese' sticks are actually fish sausages flavored with cheese, corn, etc...i'm really no big fan of those either, it's more of like an acquired taste thing

  • Comment removed

  • Poor Martina kept getting the yucky ones! Here's a chocolate chip cookie for you! ((X*X))

  • "Ducky"?

    ADORABLE!!!

  • Thoes are Sausages cheese or something else inside of it. It is very tasty. What you guys talkin about?

  • It turns out we bought some weird "new" brand with a girl with an afro on it, and it tasted gross, but the ones we normally buy have a sumo-like guy on them and it's delicious. We should have just stuck with the ones we knew. *^_^*

  • @minjaebyun I don't like those quicky mart sausages. Maybe I'm spoiled with European style sausages with real quality meats and spice in it. Processed meat sausage (god know what % is actually meat and what quality) to me is disgusting. Same goes for SPAM. Cheap ass luncheon meat for some reason became a beloved staple in Korea. No one eats that crap in the US except poor folks. Koreans need to get acquainted with real quality hams and sausages. U'll never touch that stuff after.

  • @Xentradi97 Same goes for cheese.

  • The eggs sound good. I've eaten soy chicken eggs before but never soy quail eggs.

  • I love these kind video. haha

  • Its a fish cake that looks like a cheese stick :DD! Mmmmmmmm

  • looool its not cheese LULz

its ya some sort of processed fish

    taste like sausage

i guess there's CHEESE in it O.O my family eat the orignal one

i dont particularly like it either
