Canadapost pushes Steve over the edge - Arrrgggg

U.S has stopped accepting Canadian going mail because it is stockpiled now. Anything shipped within Canada has been paid for but is just sitting idle. Shouldn't that idle mail that was paid for by costomers be delivered? Nope....Canada Post doesnt see it that way! "You paid for it and you took your chance with us." I've switched all my bills to email, and have saved at least a 1 bag of CanadaPost delivered flyers from ending up in the landfill....because they havent been " delivering" it to me.

I know dude, my first parcel, in a 3.5x3.5x3.5 inch box weighing 0.73 kg to ship to the states was $16.68 cents!! I had a bigger box with more weight come to me from the states for only $4.72. It's f@#%$ rediculous, and these bastards are on strike thinking they deserve more. Side note: the postal worker had stacked uneven parcels 2 feet high on the counter and while I was there some toppled to the floor, she didn't seem to care or bother to pick them up right away. I pray nothing was fragile.

shipping is retarded. I had a guy try to charge me 32 dollars to ship a cd to canada from the states. Canada post sucks they keep dropping off parcel notices when there is no reason too other than the mail carrier being lazy. Sellers requires no sign. The rates are totally fucked, shipping a box from western Canada to any other part of canada costs like 20+ dollars.

A 2ft by 2ft board with a 12inch high building on it would cost $135.19 to send it freight mail (surface post) to you in the UK. Plus approx $25 for the box and foam peanuts, it would be way more if you bought those too from the post office. There is no markup or labor cost in those either.

Now I don't know what Canadian Post is (assuming its your local mail service) and if it cost him almost 8 bucks to ship that filter across the street then I agree with Steve you are taking up the ass on postage. 8 bucks to send a filter that probably weighs about the same as a few sheets of paper COME ON 8 bucks to ship that, that is freaking INSANE! Why don't you all learn the facts. Yes the states is the cheapest postage rate in the world. You know what else? They're the most in debt in the world. Every year they lose money. $238 billion over the next decade will be lost. Who pays? the tax payers. Why ??So assholes like this retard Steve can run his shitty business. Stuff usually arrives, albeit later than you would think. The costs they charge and try to justify are what get me. Plus the "service" is often biased, revenue based and well not really helpful.

Postal in oz is nt to bad rate wise , but they steal what they want and damage items etc . Even with the postal rates it ll make a good bunch of tree s , your time and help is much appericiated . Re music disc s in oz they used to charge $34 for a CD and they wonder why people started downloading , now the industry is destroyed they decide they can sell CD s for $15 . Aad there still makeing a nice profit on those prices .

Yes, but ... they charge ''courier'' rates Pretty much double to triple the base rate at Canadapost. I.e DHL's price to Kane,PA for the filter is $69.06 and UPS was $60.09 (cheaper by $9) whoop-de-do

Here in Korea its so cheap (buy huge postal boxes for a buck or less, really cheap shipping, lots of personnel at the office, free tape, ribbon, and glue, and a guy'll custom pack your stuff you a couple bucks more). How much local gas and paper do these guys have? How about Canada (I'm from Winnipeg)? Why the difference? I don't get it.
