I agree with DanNinjaMan...nice technically, but there's definitely a lack of heart and connection to what you are playing. You have this kind of passion in your teaching, but not as much in your playing. Kudos for doing your thing, tho...
You are really good at guitar, there are a couple of places where I think power chords were inappropriate, I think that barre chords would make it more true to the original
i actually disagree for a classical piece power chords don't make any sense, the reason the chords are there is so that there is a cadence but with power chords there is no cadence
haha..funny... i loved that...i love Bach, he had a creative mind. but dude you've taught me alot about guitar...not so much how to play guitar but how i can set up my guitar...for example i wanted to change the gauge on my strings to 11s and i learned how to set it up thanks to you... i play alot of blues with the pentatonic scale and i play alot of metal... my two favorite genres of music...i cant do classical yet, which sucks though
He is right though dude, I think you need to work it a little bit on the met. Not going to say I could play it better but I heard a couple of dead notes and strings popping out.
very nice...would u have the tabs?

was way too rushed. no i don't mean too fast, he was just focusing on playing the notes as fast as possible and not staying in time.

guess it's a pretty decent job technically but it really felt completely empty of any meaning or emotion
Ballmeyer 2 years ago 10
@Ballmeyer What is feeling? What is emotion in a song? In short, it's subjective. Just because you don't feel it, doesn't mean it's not there.

Interesting, I would like to do an electric version of fantasia in D minor, but I'm not sure if i could make it playable without ruining the song.

i reckon barre chords would sound weird with dist.
cw91335 3 years ago
not really it depends on the effect
12233312233328 3 years ago
yeah probably, but imo p. chords are more tight sounding and would probably suit a rock/metal arrangement beter
