Your kitties are way more complacent with Santa than mine was. When my dad came out dressed in the Santa suit for the kids at the family party one of my kitties started growling and spitting and made a dramatic screeching exit from the room. To get back at me he shredded every scrap of tissue and wrapping paper in the house while I slept that night.

BTW My 12 year old son thinks you and TJ totally ROCK. We have 4 rescue cats and three of them look very similar to your kitties. @klusmanp When you say "I once dated"... that would probably indicate that any advice will be too late to do any good... but Claritin does wonders. When my wife and I were dating, we got two kittens, and for several months1 or 2 Claritin per day made everything okay. Not long after that, she just got used to the cats and doesn't need it anymore.

@klusmanp I am allergic to cats.. At one time if i eventouched a catand then my handtouched my face,i had a big reaction. Then back in the early 80's, I offered to adopt a young cat who needed a home. I fell for her in a big way. My allergies didn't occur with her, nor with her son, born later. Just one kitten, another story. It was love!

My Allergy Dr. told me that a number of his patients were highly allergice to cats via testing and other's cats,but not to their own. Love CAN conquer!!!
