  • wtf how does he sing so low with such power

  • Any real countertenors out there that can give me a few things to keep in mind as I train that end of my range? Tenor 1 Ab sits easily in my range. I only need falsetto after C#.

  • @Icyveins906 to sing countertenor, you must develop low falsetto or perfect the switchover to falsetto. Just because a note is in rangem doesn't mean your can sing it full voice, unless you can match the volume with your falsetto. I'm a baritone, but I sang high tenor in some bbshop quartets, which forced me to perfect this technique.

  • Anyone know how I could purchase this arrangement?

  • I want this arrangement. Who did it?

  • I look forward to hearing them in Ohio in March!

  • Wow, I didn't know Chris Mullin was the lead singer for Chanticleer!

  • wow thanks for this

  • the chamber singers of my college choir sang this last year, they didn't do an all male thing though it was women and men, and it was lovely.. I love Chanticleer... we also sang their medley of christmas spirituals... it was amazing!

  • Does anyone know what particular arrangement of "christmas time is here" this is?

  • @CGH1105 This is an arrangement by Joe Jennings, their former music director.

  • So..i did!

i just already home from their LIVE performance concert in Akron..that was AWESOME!!!!

  • omg i went just last night too!!! it was amazing and you know their really cute composer mason bates, me and my friends talked to him for like 10 minutes and i hugged him :)))

  • I was at their concert too!

And at the all day festival!

    It was so awesome! =)

I got to sing next to Brian for the combined performance =) such an amazing experience. I got to talk to them too, and hug Brian =) ah, can't wait til they're back in Ohio!

  • I get to sing with them next weeeek :) I'm so excited :)

  • ever heard for Slovenian octet

  • Absolutely the BEST acappella group PERIOD Live!!! No one else compares. I have heard many but not can compare to this group live. I just heard them last night in Huntsville, AL. OH MY GODNESS they are freakin GREATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! FLAWLESS performance the entire night!

  • ever heard of the kings singers

  • @dspolevaulter yes. awesome. have you heard voces 8?

  • @DBurn2G king's singers are better live. Seen them both several times. The king's countertenors are smoother in my opinion.

  • @thique1 Their newest countertenor is a tad inexperienced, but I would also like to state that the King's Singers don't often go quite as high, and I've heard over two-hundred songs from both. That said, the younger countertenor you see here sounds much richer 2 and 1/2 years later. Do you perchance know which arrangement this is? I'm tired of sifting through 100+ gerauldi arrangements...Please some1 tell me ;(

  • @DBurn2G King's singers are cleaner, better counter tenors. Chanticleers bass is an experience to hear. mind blowing. But for tightness, king's singers rule.

  • @thique1 I was part of the National Youth Choral Festival. Eric Alatorre, the bass, sat right over my shoulder, so every note he sang went right to me.

    IT ROCKED.

  • awesome bass harmonies

  • This appearance was my introduction to this amazing chorus. Thanks to The NBC Today Show & to SamuelBarber21. I'm anxiously awaiting Part 2 & beyond. To all I say emphatically "Bravo!"-carlsage

  • The music is so rich with all the layers! Very nice :) Come to Fresno, CA!
