  • It's still Tori. It's like she had changed her clothing, that's all. Over time people (like yourself) change over time and reveal different parts of themselves. This is a part of Tori's personality. You've got your fantasies and quirks that others wouldn't like, too. As with the people we love, we still like Tori a lot because her pros outweigh her cons. Does a parent stop loving a child just because it becomes an adult and does things the parent doesn't like?

  • what did she do to her face? I'm asking

I thought she was just aging / makeup

  • Abnormally Attracted To Sin is a Gorgeous album. I wish she would have left her face alone, although she is still pretty, she was so much more beautiful before. I also wish she would cut down on the strange/odd affected vocals! The music and lyrics are still such genius, so beautiful and unique, and some of the vocals on this album are still very beautiful.

  • TORI is UNIQUE!

  • Just listen to her talk....there's no female artist who knows exactly what she's doing with her music as Tori knows. She is incredible intelligent and talented and I can appreciate than, even if I am a 39 year old dude.

  • Ok, she is looking incredibly gorgeous! GO TORI!!!

  • I wanna kill myself, when I think that I didn't saw her, when she came to Greece for the only live performance that ever made here : ((( she is an inspiration..

  • i love all her albums. i mean, i know there are some morons who think tori was only great in the early 90s, and that her new(er) music sucks, but i love every one of her albums. and this one is excellent. it's hard to pick a best tori amos album ever, because they are all amazing.

  • i love tori's recurring driving/piloting commanding/searching themes. they are a recurrent theme in her videos. it took me a while to plunge into the "sonic steam bath" of the newest album "aats" but eventually it grew on me. really love "give" and "welcome to england " off of there. "that guy" was also sort of interesting.

  • i love her!she my favourite artist of all! she kills!!

  • In regards to her hair, Tori wears hair pieces for interviews and concerts, if you go to her meet and greets you'll realize that, there is a performance element to her appearance. The hair piece is used to minimize the damage to her hair after years of treatment. In her book she is honest about using botox, an entire chapter is devoted to her public persona and appearance. I recommend reading it.

  • You know, I think there is a lot of discussion about Tori's face, which is really not why I'm listening to her music. For one, anyone in their mid-fourties is going to solicit some gossip regarding their appearance, which is unfair because this type of discussion does not occur with men.

  • I love so much this album, especially Give and Lady in Blue

  • She so cool I love her music

  • I barely like a FULL album, and I LOVED Abnormally Attracted to Sin and American Doll Posse, Fully!! ALL the songs are just marvelous.

  • whats the song playing on background in the start

  • Fire to your plain on the last album

  • does she have some plasic opreations?it´s impossible to look that young in her age. I think she looks different as in the times of her past album...I´m just wondering...

  • I was wondering the same thing...I just watched a video of her's where she's talking about the Beekeeper and she looks so different.

    Ah well, she's a fantastic artist :-)

  • @littlerainworm550 There are people who look much younger at her age. If they are a raw foodist who eats raw fish and organic food yes, they can look better at her age. If they stay out of the sun. There are several people that I know men and women who look younger without botox. Tori looks great. I am not sure what she has done or not. I don't care. But saying that it is impossible to look this young is nonense.

  • @littlerainworm550 really? how old are you? have you been exposed to natural looking women?? I've seen plenty of beautiful women in their 40's and 50's looking amazing.

    Open your eyes.

  • @littlerainworm550 age and getting older can make you look different.

  • I think I know why people have such a problem with the work she got done. It's kind of like a betrayal. Of all the people, I expected her to be more honest about growing old. Saying "yes I look like an older women and I am an older woman but I play piano and sing like no other. This is just what mother nature does so fuck you ".

  • Tori Amos is an interesting woman, but her music is hit and miss to me personally. She always talks about it but whenever i hear it i think 'is that it?' Maybe i just don't get it. What i do know is, that despite the fact that she is no great beauty, there is something undeniable alluring about her, and she is better looking now than she was 15 years ago.

    I'd love to fuck her.

  • love tori but cant stand these kind of album ad style promotional interviews.

  • Why does it matter if an artist "bullshits" when they are making something which is well crafted? We're not trying to hang out with her, so why would it matter if her personality doesn't match her music? Whether she feels what she says is irrelevant, though probable, from the details in the craft. We're viewing a piece of art with our ears. If there is nothing recognizable in an artists work for a person, they move on. It doesn't mean the artist doesn't have talent.

  • my hero and inspiration

  • I also went to the concert in Hammersmith Apollo on Friday. After that you just feel happy there are still such artists left in this world. My God, Tori, you are amazing!

  • Saw Tori last night in at Hammersmith Apollo.... she still blows me away right from the days back to little earthquakes!!! Thank you for your unique and talented self Tori :-) You're inspirational and make me want to be a better musician and songwriter. Never stop creating :-)

  • she is one of the respectable artist sing about something not like the others ... love me please don't leave me please and lab lab lab

she is my favored for all time

  • oh god what a great album all the fucking songs just fucking great man love u tori sorry miss u in Toronto

  • i really like her, but sometimes it just all sounds like bullshit! im sorry, but its true. people always try to sound so deep!

  • There is deep bullshit, then there are truly deep people. I think it is genuine. The ideas she expresses are always original and the style she speaks has been consistent for 20 years. Plus, I don't think you can make it that long if you are a hack. You can't play the same character for that long without being it.

  • Well then she has been bullshitting for over twenty years, which isn't easy to do... It is pretty genuine. That has never changed.

  • I guess, but if i were getting paid to bullshit i can promise you, you would not be able to tell!

  • @marzbar692001 I can already smell the B.S. from your comment.

  • @TearInTheirHands thats my point ;)

  • she doesn't try to sound deep... it's the way she approaches life.

  • Can't believe how cool she is, completely intellegent and insightful, and unbeleiviable talented. Once of the artists (maybe the only one) who was great in the 90th and does not dissapoint in 00s - all albums are so enjoyable. Tori is just awsome...

  • Youtube video quality makes most people look like they've had work done.

What'schanged is her jawline (that or her laugh lines are making it look different). It's a girlier than it was when she was younger, and there's no surgery for that. But she looks like a fit 46-year-old, which she is.

Her skin isn't actually tight - she just looks like she's had a facelift because of those eyes. They seem like they're slanted 'cause of the mascara and rouge, but they're not.

  • I thought so too about the jaw line but who cares if she did...it's Tori for crying out loud...she can do practically whatever the heck she wants...lol!!! LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT!

  • Currently sitting is a studio in North Carolina with Tara Busch who is remixing Abnormally attracted to sin. The bass is so great and her dry vocal is as beautiful as can be imagined.

  • Why the hell can I not watch a single new Tori video without reading pages and pages of comments about her face, and whether or not she's had plastic surgery? She's a SINGER/SONGWRITER, not a MODEL. Her face should in no way affect her music or anybody's opinion about her. Move on, people.

  • If she's had work done, I want her doctor because she looks beautiful!

  • how beautiful, how sweet and talentuous <3

  • has anyone else notices that tori is looking a teeny bit fake here?

i mean, don't get me wrong, i ADORE her music

and i guess she's still beautiful, or at least by the media's standards

but i miss the old tori

she had so much more energy

  • I think she's maybe lost a startling amount of weight, and her hair there is...maybe the worst hair I've ever seen. I think it's pretty much a given that she's had botox, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but I'm not sure she's really had extensive surgery... the hair makes her look terrible, and she used to be a bit plumper. Anyway, who cares?!

  • she is fuckin beautiful shes growing what the fuck is wrong with your face that you have to attack a woman like, huh, douchebag?

  • lol what exactly is she "growing" into? whatever it is, it ain't human.

  • Idiot.

  • Such a great album! I have not stopped listening to it. For me, Tori is a poet not just a musician. There are very few artists like her left. I really admire her willingness to listen to herself and follow her own muse. I will never stop listening.

  • I love you for your bravura Tori. To have found this today, in a day when I made a choice to accept the good in my life. .. Thank Goddess for artists like you, generous, genius. All blessings to you XX

  • i love the way she has always viewed her songs as a living breathing creature. i can not think of any other artist who refer to their songs in the third person.

  • I love how she re-invents herself. I cannot ever get enough of her. I remember one day after my first day of 8th grade I went to the mall and was looking for a good cd, something drew me to "Little Earthquakes"" I immediately fell in love and till this day her songs, her girls are always bits and pieces of me. I'm 26 now. I've been an ears with feet for 14 years now. I hope i get to see her in a few days down in miami at the gleason. Much luv my darling!

  • are her drummer and her bassplayer still alive or does she hold them in some sort of clinical coma, under her bed, maybe because they are told: if you keep playing the same stuff for the next ? years, maybe, maybe, maybe you`ll get... whatever. this is real bdsm at its finest! congratulations! btw. i`m not referring to the interwiew but i heard the " new " cd some minutes ago...

  • Looking back at quite a few vids from as far back at under the pink, and if you have noticed since Ame. Posse, she has lost quite a bit of weight. And rather rapidly. It's possible the "face change" is merely to fix some sagging of the skin that happens to those who loose weight that fast. A seen pic few years ago her hair was thin and stringy. I think she has Hyperthyroidism. I suppose we will never really know if its health, or to feel better bout herself, not our business. Music is Amazing!!

  • Tori is truly beautiful inside and out and always will be - the world is a better place because of what this one of a kind, gentle and uber talented soul shares...I have been touched and changed forever...

  • This woman is amazing...I cant wait to see her in KCMO in July....there's noone else like her....and for that ~ I think we are better people for appreciating her and being her fans...

  • It saddens me that as I hop round YouTube trying to find out more about Tori's new work (which I love), I find so many comments on her looks and little mention of the music.

Let her age as she sees fit, the journey from Maid to Crone is one we must all pass through, Tori included.

Listen to the vision of a gifted artist in "Abnormally Attracted To Sin", enjoy it and be inspired to think beyond the falsehood of our age (hmm double meaning there...)

  • I agree. Why so much emphasis on her looks? She is such an amazing, gifted and highly talented women and she just happens to be blessed with very good looks too. Not that that matters though. It`s the music that people should pay attention to. Not the fact that she is ageing gracefully. And her wigs represent different charecters and personas. They have nothing to do with hiding the fact shes older. Tori would scoff at this crap!

  • We're talking about her looks because she's going so far out of her way to make us notice them with all these extreme choices and "fake personas" (and omg the wigs *shakes head*) in recent years. And baggizz, she didn't start at 40...she's only in her late 40s now.

  • morricone is right. she is inviting the scrutiny and she has gone too far with the surgery. nobody gets away with this much surgery without people talking about it. it's like a bald man all of a sudden having a full head of hair. Are you not supposed to notice?

  • i will always think tori looked her best in the scarlet era, however not in the WTSF. she looked so naturally pretty. i wouldn't be surprised if she had a hair transplant and maybe some face work done, but who cares? it's her business, and she still looks great. it has in no way affected her music, and for that i am greatful. i think in fact she said in creating santa, it boosted her confidence. maybe she did it in order to take on that role and stuck with it. i love her either way.

  • tori is a beautiful and original musician.......i will always love her and why the hell are we talking about her looks??? just goes to show you what is of the utmost importance in this shallow culture.

  • I think the fact that Tori has done so much so soon (she started around 40), with that kind of result (although she looks better in that video than in a few others), is actually a really sad manifestation of this shallow culture. Plus, I guess most people (including myself) feel sad about it because we actually thought she was above that "shallowy culture", precisely, and would not take the route of any random Hollywood celebrity.

  • I don't care what tori does to her face, it's her business, as long as she keeps singing and writing music, I shall be happy. XD

  • @darlingzooloo pple just ahve to bitch dont they!! Tori is an amzing artist I agree withyou dear

  • i've been listening to tori for almost 20 years. she's aged well and she hasn't had a facelift. get a clue.

  • i know she got botox she said in an interview about how plastic surgury is not a shamefull thing and shouldn't be viewed as anything other then it's what she wants......

i'm happy if she got a facelift

    more power to her.

  • I think the super-straight wigs + age mainly make her face look different.. she's definitely had botox (she can't really move her face :/) I don't think she's had anything else really but who knows. she's amazing no matter what. I'm glad as long as she's still writing music

  • It's been completely mystifying me why so many of Tori's fans can't deal with the fact that like anyone else, the woman does have to age. Not to say that she doesn't look amazing for her age (she does), but for the love of god people, she's allowed to not look perfect or change her looks or whatever. Deal with it.

  • No offence to all of you tori addicts, but whatever she's doing to her face is working for me. She looks 100 times better than she did when she released American Doll Posse. She does love her wigs tho right.

  • thank god a new ablum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and i like what shes done to her face, and her hair or wig looks nice too!!!!!!

  • Ummm... Am I blind? I don't see any sign of a facelift on this woman's face... I only care that Tori continues to be who she is without ever apologizing for it, and I hope that she continues share her music with us... Keep writing, keep playing, and keep touring Tori, we love you!!

  • yes maybe you're blind :P

how can't you see how her face changed in the last four years? I can't see the Tori I knew in this one I'm seeing right now, and that's sad. But maybe she feels fine doing this so, good for her, but watchinh ger face makes me sad everytime. :(

the new album is good though!

  • yes, cutelatin. you are blind.

  • LMAO, ok ok.... I see a little botox, maybe some laser too, but do I think she had surgery, no... her face would have changed much more dramatically if she had a facelift... her skin does look stiff, kind of like those old actresses that are obsessed with the botox =o)

  • She is so amazing with every album! A true talent; and never once had to take off her clothes to show that talent.

  • I love her and she is my FAVORITE but please someone tell her to stop getting facelifts and botox injections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me not want to like her as much as I do... You can tell it isn't real and it makes me sad.

  • ugh she has too much stuff going on her songs! what happened when it was just her singing with the piano?

  • love it! and waiting Tori in Russia))

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarussiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaashesaidrussiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))i am happy

  • wow :) Thanks for sharing. Tori is growing so much and she is just an incredilble artist. I think this Album is going to be one of her ultimate BEST. BRAVO TORI~ We are with you and for you. Peace~

  • tori amos is a n absolute genius. this is a fact. however.. what is she DOING to her face?!?!?!?!! this makes me feel sad.

  • She's an imposture. I can't reconized her !

What's happened ? I'm sad for her... WAX DOLL

  • Well, she wrote the song to the films. The films weren't made to the songs. If anything, there's a "secret code" in the song for that image, not vise versa.

  • The new album is just superb. I interviewed Tori a couple weeks ago and it was a real joy. When I said how much I was looking forward to seeing the visualettes after spending three weeks listening to the album she went out and made sure her PA sent a copy to me on the understanding that it was for my eyes only.

The interview will be online next week, but you can see the cover art and read a snippet from it right now at the Polari magazine editors blog.

  • Does anyone think there are secret codes in the visualettes? I see numbers and clocks pop up with the time in all the songs.

  • i'm really excited for this album, probably not since Venus!

  • i like fire to your plain very much too, but so far my favourites are "Flavor" and "Give"

  • I think so too! It's such a sexy, saucy song IMO

  • ..I can't explain but I'm absolutely drawn to 'Fire To Your Plain' more than any other track I've heard from the new album...anyone else feel this?

  • Oh, thank god, I thought I was the only who was thinking that "Fire to your plain" was the best song leaked so far!

  • I'm really liking "Fire To Your Plain" as well. Though "Give"

has a tight hold on me at the moment. It's on constant repeat.:)

  • YEAH ¡¡
