@Mmurdoks Not invalid in the least. Guns were banned for law abiding citizens in the Columbine high school as well. Had some of the teachers been armed, that tradegy would have ended with only a few lives lost as well. In 2 other US school shootings, lives were saved when other people who had guns confronted and stopped the shooter. They didnt shoot, just the presence of their guns stopped the killers.

How can they say we emigrated out of Africa some 70,000 years ago when we have fossil evidence that date back a LOT further back than that in Asia alone.
There are some serious discrepancies in time lines here, and they don't account for the fossil record.
It talks about North America being isolated since before Columbus, yet completely neglect that the Vikings were there 500 years before it.
This is popular media, not in depth science.

First of Carbon dating only works to look back some 50-70,000 years, after that other radiological dating procedures take place to date something further back.
Carbon dating IS accurate when it stays withing it's working parameter.

It's a silly misconception that all humans once looked like African black people look today, we DIDN'T.

There are DNA in Europe alone that dates back to when we started to become homo sapiens ( you know HUMANS), dating back over 27,000 years ago, called Haplogroup I.
There have been humans and human ancestors out of Africa for many many thousands of years.
It's safe to say back then we didn't look like we do now.
NG is a TV/magazine not Science.
By the time we left Africa we almost looked like Apes.
