The Tenori-On is great, its advantage is that it is like a sequencer that keeps the beat.

The bad part is that it keeps the beat. I have tried a few music pieces on the Kaossilator, a more low-rent instrument which records sound loops and you have to keep the beat yourself, or improvise away from the beat. Try my video "Dark Taxi".

Just look for an Application called "Beataker." It's more costly, about 20 dollars, but its truly an amazing music-making piece of software. Go check it out if you like this guys.
