which is VERY toxic to plants especially young MJ cutting or seedlings. If using coco indoors you must flush w/ straight water every 3rd watering to prevent toxic salt build-up. I highly recommend NOT using it for outdoor crops, unless mixed w/ a highly enriched soil blend. Transplant those babies into a good soil mix & you wont have to fertilize for at least 2-3 weeks, then when you do start fertilizing only fertilize 1 maybe twice per week, then only water every other time. Good luck!
@codyck1 they are in one gallon bag right now... so should i transplant them into 3 gallon bags of fox/roots soil? this is my first time outdoors so...... yea i all the help.... oh yea, would it help to flush them b4 i transplant?
@TheRudeboy88 ...yes transplant them into either 2 or 3 gallon containers. If you local hydro shop has Happy frog & Ocean forest soils, I use 2 parts Happy Frog to 1 part Ocean forest it makes a perfect soil mix, or if they have Roots Organic 707 blend that is perfect right out of the bag, I have also used just straight happy frog but if you mix a little ocean forest in w/ it it will give your plants a real boost. No need to flush the transplanting w/ the new soil will be all they need.
@TheRudeboy88..i for got to also mention to break off as much of the coco from the rootball when u transplant them w/ out damaging the roots..Your plants will take off like rocket ships when their roots hit the fox farms soil!! have fun!
Yeah for OUTDOOR straight coco is a no-no! You MUST use a complete soil mix, if you have access to a hydro store get some Fox Farms soil or Roots Organic soil the 707 blend. Coco provide absolutely ZERO nutrients it is a hydroponic growing medium used indoors. When using straight coco You must provide all of the plants nutrients in a chemical fertilizer form which when growing outdoors creates massive salt buildup in the coco from the transpiration (water & nutes being absorbed)leaving only SALT
@codyck1 yea its one around here nthey have both. which soil would u perfer? thanks so much bro cause we been wondering y our babies are lookin like that. they seem to have nut lockout problems. look at my newest vid....
@TheRudeboy88...once they are transplanted into either 2 or 3 gallon pots they will outgrow them within 3-4 weeks & you can then transplant them into their final pots which should be a minimum of 15 gallon sized pots. I use 100 & 200 gallon sized smartpots if you want huge plants there must be alot of space & fresh, rich soil for their roots to grow in...good luck! & happy planting...peace!
what kind of dirt u using? that looks like straight coco to me, you need to get some fox farms happy fog or ocean forest dirt if u want 2 see them girls really take off!
@codyck1 yea bro it is coco......please dont tell me your serious..... u mean to tell me the coco is holding them back? i thought i was getting the best shit for my babies..... get back wit me asap......
