  • Join Queensland Police- sunny everyday, better money, better exchange rage for holidays back home. Overtime if ya want it, patrol cars that work. Latest gear and you can even buy any kiwi product over here you might miss. How do I know cuz i've done it- spread your wings people and see the sunny side.

  • Do NZ police cars not work?

  • This is the reason lyf is worth livin.

  • Hahaha!! What da heck lmbo

  • LMAO hahaha

  • thisz a classic

  • This is a sweeeeeeeeeet advert!!!!

  • How dumb it is how they advertise this yet Greenlane Recruiting are still failing recruits after all the requirement changes for your age and physical/mental abilities. How stupid

  • All the more reason to advertise, I think. They needed to change their requirements - if you type "NZ police" into youtube search you immediately get pages of hits about drug charges, police gang rapes and shootings. The police have lost a lot of respect recently and needed to make a change to help that. Just because it's hard to get a job doesn't mean that people aren't interested in it or that they shouldn't be allowed to advertise for it.

  • Well i've already been thru the recruiting process over the past 2 years, sat twice failed twice. But i really don't think what they're doing atm is the key to what society really needs. I'm not saying this cos of my bad experience but because i think they really need to look at peoples background and life skills not just their academic abilities.

  • I agree that academic ability isn't the only thing that matters, but they also test your physical strength and problem-solving skills. I imagine academic ability will be needed as police have to deal with the media and the public. Maybe it's that the recruits don't know what the police are looking for and so find it hard to comply or impress? I'm really sorry you're finding it hard to join the police. I've never tried so my argument is purely theoretical. Good luck for the future dude!

  • you failed the academic?is it hard ?

  • "you know what i'm talking about, aye?" lolololol

  • ahahha i love this
