Yes! You are absolutely right! But don't forget the 70s was a fantastic time for music as well. 70s and 80s were the golden decades for music. 90s had a lot of great songs too, but not as good as 70s and 80s. When the Millennium came, something in the air changed, and we went from a perfect utopia world to a living hell (well not quite, but it is bad now) and no one seemed to really notice. 2012 is the end I think.
@75cowboyzfan just wanted to say we did have someone in the 00's called christina aguleria but she has stopped for a couple of years as she has a kiddie now, but im 17/18 and yes I agree there was a lot of good music then some of our music today :D

The 80s and 90s were both kid friendly. However the 80s had much better music (and 70s) than the 90s, but the 90s was probably a better time for little kids (peace and prosperity) Post 2000 is a different world. The short time of gold was the late 20th century. Never again.

I know how you feel. Sometimes after listening to the magical music of the 80s I wish I could live in the 1980s now. Sometimes I read books and watch hisories that make me want to live in the flapper and jazzy 1920s. Last week I watched BBC's 1995 Pride And Prejudice and wanted to live in the 1790s-1810s. I would have loved to have been born at the beginning of time and been able to see it all, maybe not the oil apocalypse we'll have very soon though.

Yes! You are absolutely right! But don't forget the 70s was a fantastic time for music as well. 70s and 80s were the golden decades for music. 90s had a lot of great songs too, but not as good as 70s and 80s. When the Millennium came, something in the air changed, and we went from a perfect utopia world to a living hell (well not quite, but it is bad now) and no one seemed to really notice. 2012 is the end I think.
