  • hi, the 2028 is much bigger than the 1717. The 2028 has 1250g weight and the the 1717 only 550g weight.

  • i got a queston which motor is bigger the 1717 or 2018 castle motors? plz reply.

  • Hi, I had the same problem with my 5SC brushless (not enough traction) The 5ive is a real Race Short Course Truck much better handling as the 5SC.

I use a Castle Phoenix ICE2 160HV ESC with a Pistix adapter (for using it with a car radio control)

My Baja 5B brushless has a better traction with Proline Badlands as the 5SC.

  • Can you tell me what ESC this is? Surely not XL2 if you are running 10s? Also, how does this compare with the 5sc brushless? I have a 5sc brushless too, but I can't get traction on that.

  • Hi, I have 3 big Castle ESCs in my 1:5 cars and they all work very well without any trouble since over one year. Often people make wrong things: too long or thin wires between ESC and battery, too small connectors or they use too high voltage....you should use max 80-85% of the max voltage of your ESC ....and the results you can see in clips of burning ESCs.

  • i would love to do this but i have no faith in in the esc at the moment seen too many fires but great work and good luck with the truck

  • Only a little clip with a few scenes from my test today. Now I am very happy of the acceleration and final velocity. The temperatures of motor, esc and lifepos are quite well.

Sorry for the unprofessionally clip, my little daugther was the cameragirl ;) so I had only a few scenes I can use. The truck has now 18,5 kg weight.
