I have a coin that read SALO DU PATHE-CONCERT on one side 64 RUE DE LA VICTOIRE - PARIS and on the other side there is what appears to be Atlas holding a disc with the world as the background with a banner in the middle with words in French. Do you know how rare these coins are? Thanks!
@vlad1964 Thank you for your question, this piece was used for automatic phonographs Pathe in the listening room, it is not uncommon and is selling 5 to 10 dolars US
What an incredible machine. There can't be many of these surviving. I've never even seen a photo of one before. This is a much-valued video. Thank you.
Merci pour votre message, en effet c'est un superbe appareil qui officiait dans les années 1910 sur les foires du coté de SAUMUR , c'était un appareil ambulant (il y a des poignées de chaque coté) , il était transporté sur une charette et il fonctionnait avec une batterie 2 volts ,il est entiérement d'origine avec ces diques , mais j'ai fait faire une alimentation 220/2 volts redressé pour le moteur car les batteries au bichromate... Actuellement j en ai vu un vente à la PHONOGALERIE à PARIS
Merci pour votre message,l'appareil est d'origine compte tenu que c'est un appareil automatique avec la tète qui descend et monte en fin d'audition le bras est rigide avec la tète et il n'est pas possible de modifier l'inclinaison de celle ci , par ailleurs le son est tres bon avec des disques speciaux
WOW! What a beautiful machine! It sounds fantastic too. Those records you held up- are they a very early pathe? I've got quite a few various etched label pathe's, but none quite like that. Very cool.
