@CreeperArena Anonymous is not good being captivated in law and confinement. Anonymous is spreading the idea of freedom, not hatred and fear. You shouldn't feel proud.
They have arrested 24 people grand total since Anonymous appeared. For these buffoons trouble they have caused Anonymous to increase dramatically in size. Each time they arrest many more join the cause. They are fighting Hydra & still can not understand. This is a fight they can not win. Yesterday we were over 9000 today we are over 2 million. As they arrest in defiant outrage we will grow. Are they going to lock up the entire next generation? They are fools playing with new found fire.
I'm all for protesting but ddos'ing to crash is only when they won't hear your case and give a propper response if we ddos every one under the sun you are feared and people lash out at what they are afraid of but if you are just then the people aren't going to fear you just understand you're an authority and to remember that what they're doing is wrong
a 13 year old can hack into a website and crash it. the goverment has no chance of stopping this. anonymous is just goin to grow with copy cat hackers as youn as 13
we still carnt play online im sure they will strike us again there powerful we r nothing we loose they win i give up there stupid and dum to think tht they could get away wid wht they did now the FBI is on them an maybe this could get seriously physical
a small protest my ass it is bull shit they should never get out of prison it should be a life in jail they just did it for attention and i know where they are hiding at
this is where geeks or nerds take it too far. i mean literally ur upset tht ur friend or boss got caught "jailbreaking" the ps3 system & sony sued him then. Sony has the rite to do tht. & now they declare a war on a big corporation? u must a RETARD obivously ur friend/boss did somthing wrong to piss of Sony tht bad. This ain't Warcraft or Dungeons and Dragons its the Real World... let the JUSTICE SYSTEM do its job ,let the other innocent customers of Sony play online.
fuck anonymous they should get punished and get a death penalty i am not gaining valuable exp right now thanks to this xbox fanboy group i could have ranked up lots by now! fuck!
Maby if you all listen to what anonymous have to say you can understand where they are coming from if you were arrested for a simple protest in you're home town tht is what tis is like
Stop blaming Anonymous for your kiddie PS3 problems. They said they did have intentions of engaging in something similar, but realized that it'd cause more harm to innocent gamers that just happen to enjoy PSN, rather than Sony itself. They're not bad people. That's their biggest misconception.
@TSDREX They admitted publicly that it wasn't them. They're not scardy cats, and like previous cases, they admit when they do something. They even send messages to their targets explaining what's coming to them. I know a friend that hacks.. Does that mean he did it?
It is not a act of protest rather coperational greed.
They attack others claiming they are greedy only to gain views and attention on the internet which translates into money the ones who benefit are the ones useing others who feal they are important in their organization. But their websites gain views when ever these attacks happen. They are using indivuals telling them they are fighting for freedom when really they are fighting for their website hosts to gain profit.
Anonymous should definitely be punished because this 'protest' was just wrong cause they put SONY in a really difficult position and they may loose a lot of sales.
As I understand it, "Anonymous" is made up of thousands of people all over the world. Acording to a video that is out, there is no club, no membership fees, no applications, no meetings etc. etc. It was indicated that those that spread the word were simply part of the movement.
If this is the case, then how could police arrest those "responsible"?
YAY! They were arrested (well only 5)! I bet a lot more people feel safer now!

Okay, if you want to know why they did it, watch this, it's the statement they released to the UK government.
/watch?v=OHUFRmLv4m4
Also, don't take them lightly, they have access to everyone card details, they are some of the best hackers in the world, a DDOS is nothing.

@kellerr13 if they hack you can be arrested, thus anonymous hackers break laws on computer security rights
