i hated when wraith completely change in DOW SS. it has low health, 500 only and although have bonus defense, SM squad can destroy in melee like piece of cake.
Apparently it's to do with censorship laws in certain release areas. The US version contained the dismemberment while the European version contained just a stabbing.
The metal "beads" are studs that are bolted into a space marine's skin for each century of service they have performed. So that guy on the WA menu page? Been a space marine for at least 200 years.
The space Marines aren't really "normal people", because their genes have been "Modified", and they have some cool stuff planted in their bodies, Darkinsanity ;)
In the lore of 40K space marines from muti chapters who came across necrons went at the monlith for if they got inside and planted a bomb or somthing I can't quite remember but still to the point is if they got inside the monlith they could destory it, that's why they charged in this movie.
Charging straight at a monolith tends to equal you getting pwned 70% of time i think youll find unless you somehow manage to get a dreadnought in close combat with it.
waaait tht wraith just ripped tht marine into half but MY intro just stabs him does tht mean i have the CENSORED VERSION?!

but at 0:46 2 predators was also helping so uh actually he wasnt the only one who was attacking.

Those Space Marines are hard core. I mean seriously:
They are outnumbered
They only have 1 guy with a gun left (since the camera guy wasn't shooting)
They're only support failed to do anything
The enemy can repair themselves after death
They're surrounded
There is a whole line of defenses in front of their objective
They probably don't even have the tools to destroy that tomb thing
So what do they do?
CHARGE!

i know and the force commander on the menu page on DoW winter assault he has like these 2 metal things on his head. its kinda weird
thevideodude 5 years ago
I think those two "metal" things on his head are vox-beads. The equivalent of communications equipment.
CaptainAngelos 5 years ago
Humans must be giants in that time cause if you look at force commanders the armor is way past their heads.
Darkinsanity123 5 years ago
well, the average height of a human 2,000 years ago was like 5 feet. imagine how tall we'll be in 38,000 years.

In the game, charging the monolith as space marines has proved successfully. 70% of the time it works and I kill it.
JacktheSmack 5 years ago
"The monolith! we destroy that and its all over"
or something like that
AlusPryde 5 years ago
Im surprised there was anything left of that marine to be finished off by the Necron Lord.
