Understand this there are bad teams out there that sell amway product but also there are legit teams that help you to understand to use amway as a back end business, meaning im a consultant and a health coach and use it just as that a back end business. i'm with amway, i'm 20 and i didn't know anything about network marketing. the same people who showed me the business are teaching me for free every thing i need to know. if amway was a scam, it wouldn't be still active after over 50 years in 80 countries in the world -.-
there is a bonus based on volume but in order to get that bonus you have to have customers order a certain amount to keep people from doing nothing and making money off others.
you can sell whatever you want but most people will sell one product and use it as a door opener to show that customer other products.

You have to work at Amway to make it work. It is like any other business. It is not a get rich quick scheme. The people who have succeeded in Amway have had to work at it. I have only been in Amway several years. @mRUSSIA I did Amway for 5 years, yes I did made some money and built a large network with lots of people in my downline, But unfortunately I spend more money buying cds, dvds, books, taking products to customers, wasting long hours showing the business plan, useless conferences and meetings just to sell you more dvds, books etc, expensive staff, otherwise you breach the agreement the Amway policy. The products are great but for business NEVER AGAIN, NOBODY MAKES MONEY WITH AMWAY.

Amway makes money by recruiting people, getting them to but lots of overpriced products while they tell them it will eventually make them rich. I would never do Amway, no one in Amway has ever made 1 million dollars in one year. Look on Wikipedia, they have been sued by their own distributors. There is a dateline show on it as well. It's not that mlm doesn't work. I do Nuskin part time now for four years and I make pretty good money. One more person reaches 1 million dollars in total commissions every five days. They pay well and their products work. I'm very happy.

As i said, in my co. we don't go around selling stuff. I deal with recurring bills, money already motion. People are not putting out new money to be my "customer." As in other companies, they join to save money on products and services they're already using. Hey, if you're gonna use these corporation's services, might as well get paid.

- What minimum monthly sales is required by an IBO?
- By product category, what is an IBO's gross margin?
- What % of the downline's sales goes to the upline IBO?
- Is there a required product mix or can you focus on selling e.g. just the energy drink?

there are no minimums for sales.
ibo makes about 35% on retail markup.
there is a bonus based on volume but in order to get that bonus you have to have customers order a certain amount to keep people from doing nothing and making money off others.
you can sell whatever you want but most people will sell one product and use it as a door opener to show that customer other products.

You have to work at Amway to make it work. It is like any other business. It is not a get rich quick scheme. The people who have succeeded in Amway have had to work at it. Amway doesn't guarantee financial prosperity. No business does. Not everybody is going to say "yes" to your Amway presentation. You have to work the averages. Most people will say no. Amway makes money by recruiting people, getting them to but lots of overpriced products while they tell them it will eventually make them rich. Are people in Amway selling any products to ACTUAL customers or are they just selling to themselves & people they recruit? Sure, a few people recruit enough to make good money but they are doing it by taking advantage of stupid dreamers by getting them to buy & use overpriced products themselves. Recruits also buy lots of stuff to start their "business"

I would never do Amway, no one in Amway has ever made 1 million dollars in one year. Look on Wikipedia, they have been sued by their own distributors. There is a dateline show on it as well. It's not that mlm doesn't work. I do Nuskin part time now for four years and I make pretty good money. One more person reaches 1 million dollars in total commissions every five days. They pay well and their products work. I'm very happy.

Not a rep. Too bad none of these people joined the 1 co. started by a former rep--the most successful rep in the history of network marketing. We've had 45 pay raises in the last 10 years & created many millionaires. but even if you suck, can still easily earn $5000/m. Good retirement income 4 me.

A GOOD marketing plan, and product, it has to be worked, like any business, ANYWHERE. People helping people, and people supporting people is a great thing. Highest payout is smart business sense. As i said, in my co. we don't go around selling stuff. I deal with recurring bills, money already motion. People are not putting out new money to be my "customer." As in other companies, they join to save money on products and services they're already using. Hey, if you're gonna use these corporation's services, might as well get paid.

We have a Vietnamese guy in our co, also speaks broken English, used be a cable installer--made it to Executive in 6 months, earning $50,000/m. Same thing--just showing the plan--but for Quaan, it was just eother Vietnamese-speaking friends. Lots of hard work, a little luck, anybody can do it. The key is perserverance. Big risk for starting my own business. Unlimited earning potential, unlike employee. We can only talk about income on conference calls just for reps. It's a team sport. If you all work together, you get rich. U can't get to the Superbowl by yourself. Its a team sport. Are you selling lots to legit customers(those just buying something from you like they would from a store) or mostly recruiting others who are buying products for their personal use & trying to get others to do the same?
How much have you spent, how much have you made& how long have you worked on it?
