@Glufster Then you're not a poweruser of photoshop. He spent almost two minutes clicking to select the jeans, instead of the background, when he could have just done a magix delete on the BG, and then smoothed it with selection contraction.

@faizuleffendee gimp reads the font that are on your computer so what you have to do is dowload some fonts save it to a folder and go to control panel just search fonts and go to the folder that you saved the fonts in and right click and the font folder and copy it and go to control panel and just paste the fonts you copyed to the rest of the fonts. and you should see it in gimp if you are already on gimp just close it and open it again.

kay. See when I try to use Move on something it always moves the background/bottom layer.

I have the object i want to move selected, layer its on highlighted but it still moves the bottom layer. I've looked at the different move modes and it still won't work.

Btw, do you get an error message when you open a recent file?

Yeah... Thats what the move tool does. To get around this, copy the object you selected and paste it. This should make a floating selection. Click new layer with the selection highlighted. Now move the object.

Go to the tool options box and check the "Move active layer" box.

If that doesn't work, you just have to click on the image that you are moving and then move it. I had the same problem. :)
