When I was younger I remembered ALL my dreams, and I guess I could lucid dream to some degree... at least I could fall asleep at ANY moment (even in the middle of the day) and create the dream myself. Only... the dream went just as I wanted it, but when I got concious "hey! I'm dreaming! Hey, this isn't possible" things twisted just to the opposite of what I wanted... suddenly my dream would become a cartoon scene etc. and I lost control completely. Those were my only nightmares... :/
I have a question. My alarm clock doesn't shut off unless I manually hit the button. I can't just ignore it either because it's very loud and annoying. Can I shut the alarm clock off or will that ruin dream recall? What do you suggest?
For the last couple days, I've woken up and tried to stay still while remembering my dreams. But whenever I try to do this, my mind enevitably drifts before I've barely thought about them, and I fall back asleep again. I guess I'll give up that technique and go straight to my computer to write down my dreams.
I ALWAYS dream about teachers. ALWAYS. I'm in high school and always dream about teachers and school xD And I can totally reflect on 'I saw my french teacher- which I didn't wanna see AT ALL' SOoo thát's the feeling I always get when I wake up in the morning XD
if anybody can tell me but i think this might have been the start of a lucid dream so i was in a training facility about lucid dreaming then i was like all of this only happens in dreams and the guy was like yes and bullets were shooting at him and he turned one bullet inside out then he was about to shoot himself and said remeber this only happens in dreams then he shot but i woke up cause it was like 12 pm
im guessing the reason the man took a pill at 5:20+ is because u were watching the matrix or thinking about it and on the matrix the main guy chooses between a red and blue pill :)
I've tripped mushrooms and all sorts of drugs that don't exist in my sleep. I feel pretty weird even when I wake up after dreaming about stuff like that :P. Lucid dreaming is pretty awesome^^
Great video. I love the way you introduced the camera into becoming the dreamer rather than the observant, something of which I didn't expect and very nicely played.
I hate my dreams fading to the back of my mind or not being able to recall certain dreams (I.e. if I didn't sleep for a day but slept after 24 hours; I would have very poor dream recall). It's not the lack of lucidity, but rather the mere lack of recalling the small hard-to-reach memories that cause me to become bugged.
wait u have to turn off the alarm thats movement and visuals and u cant let it ring cuz thats deffintly distracting..and also if u wake up erly everyday that time is gonna be normal so r u not sapose to do it evveryday?
haha i have the same tripod as you do lol it has the bubble an the extedning legs an all lmao, i really like these videos they have given me more insight into the dream world and lucid dreaming..
Brilliant idea with that "see what my eyes see" :D But I have a question: What if you remember that you've dreamed about something cool, but can't remember what it was, even if you're doing all that remembering techniques? There may be some snapshot from that dream that convinces you that you dreamed about it, but too short to recall all the rest. One time I've dreamed about solving some physics formula, but after I woke up I remembered only that I've dreamed about it but not the formula itself.
just keep focusing on that one flash, over and over and focus REALLY hard on what emotion you felt that MADE it kool and try to figure out/remember why why you felt that emotion and if all else fails, go through life untill you remember the dream. you know, like when you're doing somehting and for some wierd reason it reminds you of the dream you can't remember? hope for that and it will druge up more stuff. XD i dreamed i knew how to put a bond together, and now i don't remember! XD how gross.
i was playing a piece of music on my guitar, when i woke up i grabbed my guitar an tryed to play it, it took some time but when i stumbeld upon the tune it really stunned me
something like that happens to me. I'll be drifting off into sleep, and I start off with a guitar riff, then as I fall deeper into sleep, more instruments come in, and the song becomes more vivid. I know I should get out of bed right now, and play it, before I forget, but I am too into the song. so I fall asleep. Sadly, I don't remember anything about the song in the morning.
but lying completly still? if my alarm clock goes can i still put it of?

maybe when you die you go into the dream universe you have created? I've been thinking that might be what happens lately.

@nessy707 In my last lucid dream I tried logging onto my computer and writing something just to see if I could read it in the morning. XD
Needless to say, it didn't work. :(

slashher77 3 years ago
@slashher77 Try to turn it off without opneing your eyes; if you have it close to your bed it shouldn't be a problem.
