for me Twisted Metal was awesome, all of them ,(1,2,3,4,small brawl, Black and Head on), I dont know why a lot of people said that the TM4 was a shit, For me is the best for Playstation 1 because is very fast and a lot of the final boss were the old characters( Slam, Axel, Minion ,Sweettooth and another one that I dont remember his name)...and TM4 have a lot of new weapons...and is the only game that you can choose Calipso....XD

@Domonkoss Uh being realistic is not what the series was trying to go for >_>. The game is called twisted metal for a reason and some of the vehicles were supposed to be weird and the weapons were as well. Now if the game was supposed to be believable it wouldn't even be as good as it was...Your actually the first person i've ever seen complain about realism in a game that was never going for it in the first place.

The designs were good but the truck was weak. I remember getting frustrated everytime I got hit. The truck flipped over too much even when I finished jumping on ramps. The 4th game and all the games after that had a stronger truck for Sweet Tooth.

Twisted Metal 4 COMPLETELY fucked up the series. Twisted Metal 3 was shit, but at least it most of the true official Twisted Metal characters. Why in the hell would we want Orbital, Meter Maid, Drag Queen, and all those other stupid fucking cars?

Luckily Twisted Metal Black and Small Brawl saved the series.

The 4th game went totally off point. It didn't have a dark storyline like the other games, with the acception of the 3rd game. The problem with the 3rd is that the wishes were dumb. Remember when Sweet Tooth wished that he can eat all the candy and ice cream? Ima give the 4th game props because it allowed Sweet Tooth to take control of the tournament in the storyline. A similar concept occured in Head-On when he and Calypso switched bodies in his ending movie.
