I was at the game. There weren't even close to as many Filthadelphia fans as it was hyped up to be. Eagles fans claim they have the best traveling fans in the league? They don't even have the best traveling fans in their own state. Pittsburgh by far is America's Team. Filthadelphia has to play 2nd fiddle to Pittsburgh when it comes to sports. Steelers win Super Bowl, Penguins in Stanley Cup Finals again, need I say more?

There were Viking fans that did go to the Linc for the Playoff game in January of 2005 & they said they had their lives threatened. At least in Minnesota, Viking fans have some class. actually, the tickets for that game against the bucs were sold out the first day they were available. There were people lined up outside the stadium for hours. A playoff game in Philly will never be in danger of being blacked out.

They had 61,000 people in that arena and not even the Eagles fans could sell it out!
20% were Eagles fans.
Eagles fans didn't HAVE to show up. A blackout would not have affected Philadelphia, only the radius from the Metrodome.
Viking potential "customers" knew their team would lose big and stayed away. The vikings won a lot of close games to squeek into the playoffs.
Every year about half the Vikings home games need a bailout to avoid a blackout.
