The Freddie comparison is a strange one...though I actually think Jarle is a better singer! Super talented. SPAN were fantastic and I hope they will get back together one day... Jarle is one of the great rock vocalists and frontmen but has incredible versatility. A true star,

@Spanzone thats the Freddie comparison, great rock vocalist but incredibly versatile, only Freddie could do Rock and Opera as he was such a good singer! Same as Jarle! Also if you listen to him singing so many faces live at Kampen Bistro, the line he sings 'greet me with a smile' sounds just like Mercury! Have a listen!

Absolute genius. I remember 2 years ago, my housemate played me "Peaceful" by Span, then played me "So Many Faces" - absolutely loved both songs and can't get enough of both Span and Jarle, couldn't believe they were both the same guy.

Just before xmas just gone I emailed the Bath International Music Festival suggesting him as an act, as he is exactly the sort of thing they love and he deserves exposure. Best musician out there in the World, period.

I was a big fan of Span managed to get a copy of 'vs time' plus bonus disc from Norway a couple a years ago! Thats me at 53 seconds pointing at Jarle, cant you tell how thrilled he is to meet me ha ha!!! Na he's a top bloke and he even let us watch him sound check beofre the gig! Got my Span albums signed while I was there as well! What a cheeky git! ha ha! Check out this track which is purely him singing which he ends his set with! I used to listen to him when he sang in Span, but I think this is even better than that.

I bought everything song I could find for about 3-4 month ago, and the music is incredible.
