Here is the CURRENT breakdown of the gassing cities/counties (I am waiting to hear back from a few others that were gassing - verified through past open records requests): Alice, Beeville, Bovina, Devine, Eagle Pass, Forney, Grand Saline, Greenville, Hunt County (contracts with Greenville), Kermit, Kerr County, Kerrville (contracts with Kerr County), Kingsville, Medina County, Odessa, Plainview, Portland, Seminole & Yoakum.

If it is inhumane to gas criminals who have actually killed and raped people, why is it humane to gas innocent animals? People suck.

This is making me heartsick. I can not believe that we treat innocent animals this way when all they did to deserve this is to be born. This must stop. I'm sure it comes down to money, everything does. Please can we treat our "discarded" animals with more decency than this? Governor Perry, I beg you to reevaluate this issue. My family and I have supported you, but this issue must be dealt with. Thank You.

Glory, you are right, it is not a pretty thing, to have to euthanize so many animals. Until the overpopulation issue is dealt with, euthanasia, is here to stay. Many people do not realize we still use this cruel form of putting animals to sleep. Whne they find out animals are being gassed to death, the first thing that comes to mind is Hilter.

If we can humanely kill, killers, rapist and the like, cannot we not give our human comanions who have done nothing a kinder and gentler way to die.

Thank you so much for this video. It is not pretty but needs to be seen.We must stop this inhumane practice in Texas, and hopefully all states. There is nothing at all humane about sending these poor helpless animals to such a horrific death. So many shelters say it is easier on their workers to gas them, and they don't have to hold them while being injected. Surely they deserve to be held. A last act of kindness, when they might not have known much in their lifetime. They deserve that much.

it's so sad what some of the human race has become animals are meant to cheer us up and be our best friends and some of us treat them like this. for all who signed it i'm sure in the end we will win and be able to save many animals lives they need us to speak for them to have a voice this petition is doing just that.thank you denise and giselle

Erin, most of the animals, in this video, were saved and are alive and well. But that is only, due to rescue work. There are many many people in Texas, who do not realize we still gas. I think, that once the the plight of these animals comes to light, with enough support, we can stop this here and in other states.

It breaks my heart to see all the souls in this video that are broken, sad, confused and thrown away. Please spay and neuter and remember that we aren't the only ones that have feelings they have feelings too. Keep that in mind when you go to surrender your pet. Do everything that you can to keep them and if you do have to surrender them do it to a no kill shelter.
