lol engines are too small my standard hyper 7 started first time easy had no trouble with it after like 7 tanks i was able to tune it and it was fine was pritty happy
it depends on if u primed it properly every single engine that is not defected in any way , when primed properly and has sufficent heat on the plug and temps around it should start firing up straight away. yours probably had problems. Hobao arnt the best for quality anymore HPI is the way to go
it wasnt mine it was my m8s, there was so much compression that the pull start was hard to pull we was puling so hard im suprised it didnt slap but we got itthere in the end i myself have the original hyper 7 and it works gr8

hey man thanks i bought that airfilter from my local hoby shop which is sadly now closed lol but i only use this airfilter on road as it lets more dust and air in so if u were to get one stick to using that one for on road use ^^ you can pick one up at modelsport (dot) co (dot) uk
my glow plugs never burnt out they just went a bt ad and went for new ones. your mac is running rich so it will burn out plugs alot more. if you have a lea engine it will burn em out aswell lol check to see if your glow plugs are slightly oily. that shows you have a rich engine and that its safe to lean it out in 1/8 turns i used to go through 1 through each gallon

Im getting a Hyper 21. soon and was wondering would a 1200mah 6v battery pack be good with a 9kg hitec steering servo? Also how much run-time would i get?
and i think the setup uv got the 1200-6volt with 9kg steering would give you probabaly 10 tanks of run time when fully charged and not left turned on when your not using it so its a decent amount im running a 1500mah 6v on all my cars iv sold my hyper 7 now i miss it soo much man i want it back lol it was a great runner
Thanks for replying, 10 tanks would be good, That's about a good days worth of running and then i can just charge it overnight anyway. I was just wondering as i don't want it to die on me halfway through running it, yet I know that everyone says the stock servos are not very good for steering. Anyway thanks again:)

at the minit i have a 1200-6v pack with standerd 3kg servo's and i get 19 tanks lol i cheet tho i run till fail safe trips then dont turn fast and turn reciever off and on after every lap that way you can get a good 6 extra laps out it have fun with your car
mind ya 10 tanks is normally enough four one day unless you want your fuel bill to be more than the car

the hyper 7 with a 21 engine is much better this buggy is basiccly a stock track buggy but bashes quite well it can handle anything on the rough grounds and handles beutifully. power is out of no where dab the throttle and it pulls away restless ly as you can see by my comments on this page and everyone elses the hyper 7 range gets a 10/10 from every one lol good luck m8

yeah the radio box needs to be trimmed ever so slighly on one end and the stone side guard needs to be trimmed using a dremel where the screw goes into the thread and thats it really and if you wat you can drill more holes in the box for all screws to go through but i use 1 screw and the radio tray holds it in.
it works great and even though only 1 screw and a bit of force is used to hold it in its vey stiff and will never pop out or move

yeah airfilter gives alot of accel and good top end but only use it for on roading cuz fine dust and dirt gets in to it so bit dangerouse off road but u shud be fine on the tarmac

yup i know first thing that i bought with my car was the fail safe spent up to 145 dollars on a previouse car as a result of no failsafe= runaway ( antenna broke but i had no clue lol!! )
yeah i had a duratrax street force, and it ran away at 50 mph into a parkin block and it was my first nitro. ccost me 300$ so i cired a little bit. then, i had a miss vegas hydro and yep, you guessed it hgad a runaway there and i jjustgot pissed and thats when i said "fuck nitro".. but ill get back into it.

hey m8 how long every glow plug last on your mac28 engine? how many tanks of fuel?
my engine alraedy go through 1 gallon of fuel and i think i've used 3 plugs. is this normal? i used medium hot plugs.
