  • One problem is that in today's society everyone needs a car, everyone, even their 1/2 blind mother. In my humble opinion, if you don't love driving, don't love the feel of the wheel in your hands, the road rumbling below your feet, the wind blowing through your hair, the car leaning as you take that twisty a little to fast..... Then don't drive. Get a cab. Take a bus.

Live a little people. I'm not saying to drive like an idiot. Just stop thinking about every little thing that can kill you.

  • Any tire is a potential risk.

    Driving is risky.

Personally my car only needs a few things: gas pedal, brake pedal, windscreen wipers, headlights, a horn for telling 'scared and useless' drivers to get the hell off the road and take transit. Oh and a heater (need heat!).

Seriously, have a look at the early days of the automobile, when the people who drove deserved it, because they dared to push the limits, they drove by the seat of their pants.

  • haha your gunna tell me that this isnt safe? Thats why half the guys in D1 stretch tires right cause its not safe. Im pretty sure if they can fly sideways around a corner on stretched tires, theyll be fine to just drive down the street on. Just my opinon

  • @rockyou1111 you risk curbing your rim with tires like that

  • @bigjimmy2225

dont drive like an idiot and it wont happen, ibe been driving like this for 3 years with no problems

  • Those tires are too narrow for those wheels and are a hazard to anyone near the car they're mounted on. They can blow out at any minute, and they offer little grip.

What kind of self-respecting shop mounts tires like that, one with mafia lawyers or something?

  • @TestECull

It seems to be a trend given ppl like lots of lips on the rims and the fender don't support such wide tires.

  • @kensai69 They should either fit wider fenders or narrower wheels. God only knows there's enough rice-as-hell widebody kits people can duck tape onto a car to clear the wider rims.

  • @TestECull No. People have been doing it for years with little to prove saying its hazardous

  • @89hatchie Stretched tires like to blow out more often due to funny stresses on the sidewalls, not to mention they're famous for popping off the bead if you hit a pothole.

They're unsafe. You'll never catch me even riding in a car with then, and when I encounter one on the road I give it a wide berth in case one of those tires blows and the dumbass starts careening around.

  • @TestECull

Not that I would ever stretch tires on my wheels, but you're just taking this whole "safety" thing a bit far. I think you might have a small tread size phobia.

  • @xplat No small tread size phobia, I just don't like it when dumbasses put things on half-assed like that. It's a hazard for anyone else. I don't care if their tread is narrow, I just don't want it coming off because some idiot decided to stretch his tires and ruined the sidewalls structurally.

  • lol toyo proxies those are garbage

  • man those bbs are sick!!! miam!!

  • Aren't you supposed to take out the valve after the bead has popped, to release the gases inside? Unless he already had the vlave removed.

  • he hasnt mounted the wheel on the clamps the correct way that can cause a serious accident

  • thats what i sen farmers do with those big ass rear tires!!!!!

  • IS THAT OZZY OSBOURNE SON???

  • yeh cheatahs the best tool ever

  • What makes it so dangerous? What can possibly happen other than getting his finger pinched when the beads pop in.

  • I think your shop needs to invest in a cheetah...

  • bbs rs ahhhhahhhhhhrrrgrggrg!!!!

  • I've worked at a tire shop for 4 years, we use ether and a lighter on just about any type of tire, especially 18 wheelers.

  • Is that honestly safe?? xD

  • that is so dangerous!!!

  • not really not if u know what ur doin.
