  • Machine Head's version is better...

  • @StaSioN666

    nice joke dude

  • 2 old men wearing teenager outfits that do not fit them with a hair style resembling that of a woman that play wierd looking guitars. How entertaining.

  • @MrChannel5news I suppose you feel confident with your music, so let us entertain ours. :)

  • @MrChannel5news Hell Yea!

  • when rob sings COMMENDED TO HELL in the end, its like 1986 priest.

  • The Bulgarian public is one of the affections to Judas Priest, enjoy the concert to the end, they are happy, the girls are beautiful, watching videos on you tube, I can safely say that the public Bulgarian and Romanian are the best I've seen . This means HEAVY METAL

  • Halford doesn't go for the ending anymore (2011) like on this one(2005). Of course nothing compares to the Turbo tour. He's like a professional athlete and we're blessed he's still doing it. It's like Jordan being in the NBA at 60.

  • @charliefreak21 I wished he atleast tried on the high notes in the chorus

  • the best song with the best singer!!!

  • Rob Halford has a superhuman voice.

  • awesome

  • ALL FEAR THE SENTINEL!!!!

  • Un peu kich, mais absolutely excellent !!!

  • robs screaming can make a banshee screams look like a kitten puring!!!!!

  • no more of his magical voice on this vid. Such a shame

  • 2004 was the last year rob had some of his magic voice left. this should have been the farewell tour.

  • @megapurify No. I saw him in Katowice a few weeks ago and was blown away by his singing.

  • @IanM1984 I'm happy to read your comment, and I really hope you're right, since I just order tickets to see them in Dec...

  • @neil17z You'll enjoy them, my friend. If you're interested, I wrote a review of their concert. Look it up with the search words 'Judas Priest Wroclaw workshops' and you'll find it :)

  • @IanM1984 Yeah, the Epitaph tour is mindblowing, and I think Halford's voice is better now than in their (Priest) 2005/2008 performances

  • @TennisNoJet There are drawbacks, this song is one of them - but the way he sings Blood Red Skies...Amazing, and completely makes up for this song IMO.

  • JUDAS PRIEST

  • U gotta love Judas Priest, just do it

  • this is the great stage no a their new in epitaph tour:( but rob' s voice is awsome today too

  • Finest METAL!!

  • is this tha last time they played this song

  • The 0 "I dont like" prove this is a master piece, probably the best of Priest, and my personal favorite

  • I love this song, indeed he sang it better on the 80s, but I like better Rippers version.

  • Thanks for putting real music up

  • He aint what he use to be but still no one can sing like Halford.

  • @CatboxDesign hey. i didn't say the guy sucked. just saying he sounds like he did the 80's is going a little too far. he can't do half of what he used to. did i say he had no talent, or didn't deserve to still be doing it? no. so stop getting all butthurt just because I said something you don't agree with. i'm a huge Priest fan and love Halford's voice, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna make a false statement like that.

  • @CatboxDesign no he doesn't. i saw a live dvd from 2006 (i think) and when they performed Painkiller he sounded like a strangled cat. Sorry, but Halford has lost his magic.

  • Halford today is like Johnny Winter today: neither is what they used to be, but they're STILL Rob and Johnny, so you gotta fucking respect them. And don't go to one of their concerts and start talking shit around their true fans. Priest fans especially I think are the most loyal fans on earth.

  • @beautifulsarah100 Not even close. Iron Maiden fans would beat you to a pulp if you talked even the slightest bad about them. Priest are my favorite band, trust me. But Iron Maiden far beats Priest for which has the most devoted (and most elitist) diehard fans.

  • priest were the 1st band i saw at hammersmith on 16/12/1982?3 try not to spoil the real beast called priest just listen unleashed a live masterpiece since 79 and still is . their older now yeah the voice goes ,the fingers don't keep up with the brain so things change abit easier chords and tones and the solos get dreamy but priest can still cut it the best of the NWOBHM bands

  • Increible, cantar esta cancion en directo al igual que painkiller tiene mucho merito porque son canciones muy dificiles. Perfect.

  • He can't sing anymore.Halford due to many tours made with Priest and "bad" life lost his voice. The last good performance is in Ram It Down tour.Nothing after is compared to the old good days.Sad but true....

  • @vwmaniacs

    don't agree

i think it was incredible in here, absolutly amazing and his best Tour was Resurrection world tour, just listen to resurrection in rock in rio or live insurrection here on youtube

  • total chaos .this man is cursed .

  • Halford's voice is somehow more angry, more biting in this performance than in his younger years.

  • ufff!!! que chimba, no habia visto ninguna version en vivo de esa cancion de la era post ripper!!!

  • I still prefer Halford's voice to Rippers younger voice and almost uneducated attempt to sing this song. There simply is no replacement for Halford!

  • @andmarish Rob just rejoined, what'd you expect. They're steamrolling now! Check out British Steel anniversary.

  • @jjjxxx777 Waaayyy better, no comparison. You cant really say that his voice is bad because almost everyone is at fault in this performance, Scott, KK, Glenn, Ian, all of em, they arent in sync, and I think its partly due to not being together for so fucking long, as you said. Seriously, almost TWENTY YEARS! Thats a long time, and I would imagine it took a lot of practice just to get back to this point.

  • I know, the Ripper years, but just a new vocalist can change EVERYTHING.

  • This song is just amazing!!!

  • 2o years later, still, quite admirable.

  • Holy Shit!!!!!

  • This song displays hoe good of a vocalist Rob Halford is!!! Hes is in his Midle 50"s here!!!

  • You know whats amazing? Rob Halford is in his middle 50's when he did this song....THIS GUY KICKS ASS!!!!!!!... Even if you dont like metal you have to respect the fact that he can hit every note and is labeled one of the best singers octave wise of al time!!!

  • @johnsmith3377 without a doubt his voice still is kick ass, he was/is a professionally trained vocalist having been trained in NYC at Juiliard (I am sure I spelled that wrong) the elite/selective school of the professional arts. LOVE HIS VOICE.

  • 4:25 sounds just like the 85 fuel for life tour and there is a couple more after that that sound as good aswell

  • that's what I'd call HEAVY METAL!!!!!! :)

  • I was there, just two meters from the stage!!!

    Judas Priest - METAL GODS

  • Compare this whit watch?v=NIK1HR5f3rM

    and...how i miss that voice :(

  • que queres!! pasan los años.. hay q agradecer q todavia canta como la puta madre y es una d las mejores voces q hay mas alla de su edad...

    saludos!

  • They should play dreamer deceiver and under blood red skies live, those songs are so great.

  • Hell yeah - they are awesome - unfortunately I doubt Halford is able to hit those high notes... check out the live version of Dreamer from The Old Grey Whistle Test (or something like that) from 1975 - it's fucking awesome!

I would also like to hear Blood Red Skies live - does a version exist?

    /Cheers

  • @dd64954 If it does Ive never seen it, but there are a few cover bands who do really well on it. It doesnt matter to me if Halford sings as good as before or not, I still think it would be a great moment in heavy metal history to see them do those songs live. However I think the next tour will focus a lot more on Nostradamus, I think Rob said once they were gonna play the whole album. Looking forward to it!

    |m| |m|

  • Wow, I had no idea until now that they actually played this song during Halford's second (current) tenure in the band...AWESOME!

Would be awesome if they busted this out again for their tour next year.

  • He hit the note of 1986 at 4:38 ... cool

  • i say he hits almost every note of 1986 on this video

  • REALLY?!?!? How bout no?

Hail Halford the Metal God \m/

  • easy now, you know the mentally challenged can't help their state of mind.

  • i think halford sang it good!

  • amazing, the difference between the turbo performance and this one

the turbo one was better, but I commend halford for trying to sing this song again

  • @WickedxSoundz

Very Nice big boy but this wasnt from turbo but Defenders of the faith

  • @WickedxSoundz He can almost pull it off, but his age has just disagreed on this one. He hits the higher notes on most of the material, but this was a tough song to do to begin with. Hope they do it one last time when I see em on the epitaph tour.

  • For all those saying Halford isn't what he used to be and actually insulting him...Who is? You see Ozzy live, you can tell that he has lost a lot of his vocal talent. See Metallica live! The whole band is lost on their material. They slaughter most of their stuff (though I think its partly due to the tuning too). These guys sound fucking amazing for their age. Halford included. Why do you think they're doing their last tour? They know their age is catching up to them. One final run...

  • @WickedxSoundz this wasn't in turbo, this is from defenders of the faith.

  • @edgar867 Turbo Tour (Fuel for life, Priest... Live!) performance

  • @TennisNoJet oh yeah i know which performance you're talking about, i agree that one is tied up there with the studio version.

  • @WickedxSoundz I've found out recently that this is one of the worst performances of this song on the tour by the looks. Every other recording from this tour that I can get my hands on sounds at least a hundred times better. They were just getting back into it I guess...

  • absolutely excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mozzoful not! when he was young he had a much better voice.. the voice lost like 85% quality :/

  • @slutypet Halford is The Metal God. His voice is ∞ worth. 85% of ∞ is still ∞.

  • @kubap66 no way. go listen him singing sentinel in 1985 for example. It is so beautiful :')
