the Black Knight missile used hydrogen peroxide. it failed in Woomera SA but eventually flew into low earth orbit over the Bearing Straights. Russian torpedo's use Peroxide turbines. my dad developed peroxide torpedo's for the RN. the catalyst is often silver, but usually platinum gauze. the peroxide is simply sprayed through it then splits. peroxide rockets are very green, only producing a water vapour trail. you have to use very pure stuff..99% etc or it won't work. thats the big secret
What are you planning to use this H2O2 motor for? is it just a test of the science behind it so it can be scaled up or is motor going into something? Is the creamic catalyst used in the same way a silver catalyst is? ie. High pressure H2O2 is forced through it and split into H2 and O2? would you not want to burn a fuel using the O2 to increase the thrust?
Rocket belt uhum :0) How much propellant at 20 N? Great work!!!!

this may be silly question but on a larger scale would we be able to use this to travel to further reaches of space I.E, mars for example

Wow man, you could honestly make a bad ass jet pack out of this.

Why is the startup purple?
Are you stripping permangenate off the catalyst?

What was the mass of the H2O2 that created that length of burn? % concentration of H2O2? The hose is going uphill; were you using a pump? What type?

how can u make that?

If you have to ask, you probably shoudln't.

I developed a ceramic catalyst of high efficiency.
The result is fantastic.

Hi edgeofspace!
Could you tell me what is that ceramic catalyst you developed?

@edgeofspace and how do you do that? lol I'm new to rocketry and chemistry
