Dalmations are known to "smile" t's to show they really like you just like when wagging their tail. MY friend has a dalmation and she told me "she shows her teeth but it means she likes you" I didn't believe it till she ran over to me "smiling" and started licking me and jumping on me. Yes theyr'e fantastic but only if you have alot of time and attention to give, they crave company and they need alot of exercize to keep them in shape mainly because they are sooo greedy and are running dogs, you have to be careful because they are so clumsly and will knock small children down by accident but they are very loving and loyal :)
