I managed to get mine in at 205gr AUW. I would be surprised if u could get the quoted wieght without milling and shorting all servo/motor/esc wires to the minimum. If u were thinking of building this 180gr is a more achievable wieght (with battery) but u will have to work hard to get that. A good plane if a bit portly!
nice looking plane. Looking into buying on, myself. One question: You state 209gr. while using quite light equipment. What's so haevy about that plane? F3P with these components are normally ~150gr...
the foam is rater heavy and the receiver was not the perfect one. Check out my other malibu movies, i milled one to ~130g using a spektrum case stripped receiver and smaller batteries.
