Let's set a few things straight: hating this movie doesn't mean you necessarily hate Zack Snyder. i enjoyed Watchmen and 300 and look forward to Superman (a property that has been mishandled at every turn in the past, and that recent abortion was no exception). Hating this movie doesn't mean you have anything against "grrl power" or some such nonsense. I felt that the movie was a mismatched pastiche of nonsensical self-important pseudo-intellectual crap. One plus however was Jamie Chung. HOT!!!!

seriously...all you people who think this movie was any good are idiots. It could have been better without the action and he just made a movie about some girls trying to escape slavery. The fact that the action was just put into the movie for eye candy and contributed nothing to the plot is one thing, not to mention some of the actors/actresses tried to hard, and lets not forget the random old dude who some how appeared in her head and as a bus driver. But in the end,this was just a bad movie.

If you watch anime you'd quickly see how unoriginal it is.

The story is bad because this is suppose to be somewhat of a girl power film. This women are trapped in an erotic male fantasy and try to escape. Its a metaphor for the way women are often portrayed in action films. Snyder trys to break away from this but fails because he makes the female characters act exactly like the male fantasy. Weak and ditsy, except in babydoll's imagination. The whole story is hypocritical.
