While you were in Traverse City, MI you should have gone another 15 miles to Kingsley and played the course at the civic center. Its 18 holes, plays fairly quickly but still has its challenges. Very nice course. Very nice video tho. Sub'd.
found a disk craft white diskcraft stratus at addison oaks. Dirty Mitten on back, Lost a classic Roc found this. Not exactley a fair trade but thanks.
Loved it you played at my top 5 courses but I'm curious how did you do at begg park springfeild Michigan long holes on the front I counted all par 3 s and my best was 7 under
nice video .... i am now subscribing to your channel ... come on over and subscribe to SnowBoredinFernie to check out our disc golf videos in the future
Looks like I need to play disc golf even more if all possible to even come within 20 strokes of these high speed players, next time I come back to northern Ohio to visit family from Colorado I will have to smash these courses. I have played Vienna park right above Toledo Ohio at least 5 times, great video!!!
Yeah, I used to live in Saginaw, now I live in Houston. Um familiar with Freeland, Midland, Frankenmuth courses and Tittabawassee. The courses out here ain't shit compared to MI. It's flat out here. I'll get some footage up of some of Houston.
too lazy to look back to see if this has already occurred, but can somebody chronical the different courses in the vid? i know that could be an arduous process, so no worries. recog many holes. awesome footage! thanks for the look. you do the mitten proud...
@FrankBlood All the courses are listed below in the video description. If there's any individual scenes you'd like to know the location on, just give me the exact times in the vid that they show up, and i'll tell you.
This video makes Disc Golf seem so effortless! I'm a beginner to it but I've finally started to get the hang of it some. Keep posting videos like this!
yeah the area is definately comparable to where i live. im in the foothills of the western sierra's. near Lake Tahoe California, you know on the map right at the bend point of california... anyways most of the mountain courses like Finnon Reservoir and Bijou in South Lake Tahoe. well i should have some better footage comin from my go pro cuz i gotta tripod on the way. ill keep checkin out yer new vids too. peace from norcal Mike Hensley
looks like you have some nice courses in Michigan. Lots of trees on some shots, which was my main looking for on my last 5000 mile road trip of nothing but hitting disc golf courses. I still have more vids to upload that are in some tight stuff. Fun isn't it?
Hey at 3:46 in the video you play the course I designed how did you like it? Baskets are homemade but I think I did a good job with the hole layouts. There are long tees there now that measure 6200'. Way better than the short tees. You guys are good at disc tho.
@weedboogs We've only played it one time, cus none of us live in that area. It's a cool course though. On some great land too! Never played on those kind of baskets before either, definitely added to the challenge. lol
what up man , nice video , courses up there in michigan look dope , im down here in indianapolis ..... me and my boys play all year long but we are always too blazed to think about filming any of it , hahahahha . we just played a sick ICE bowl here , it was insane , no snow pure ice .... we road trip alot in indiana and around cinncinatti to play disc and were prob gonna make a trip up to michigan this summer fosho. peace
i see flip city one of the best around

WOW! This makes me wanna move back to Michigan! Absolutely beautiful! Awesome video. Oh, and some damn nice throws too! :)

Really nice shots. Michigan is lucky to have the terrain that it does, perfect for disc courses. And I agree, Buzzz is a must have for any golfer.

Nice shots. You guys have waaaay sweeter looking courses then I've played here in Iowa. So what's the favorite disc choices. Long, Mid, Putt.
Me personally, I've been using the Champion SS Surge, seems to be a pretty good long range for a side arm style with a straight throw.
Mid range, I've been throwing the Magnet, I know it's meant to be a putter, but man it works great for mid range.
Putting, I use the blowfly for close, and magnet for far.
If u have recomendations on disc, do tell
programmer3553 1 year ago
@programmer3553 We all use a lot of different discs. But in my opinion, the single most important disc to have is a Buzzz.
swishablowa420 1 year ago
@programmer3553 I agree, my courses here in Texas look nothing like the scenic places you guys are at! You're lucky! Cool stuff guys!
