This is what happens when your parents shelter you too much and you're homeschooled for too long. No social skills are developed as they should be and when the kid grows up and has to face the real world, it'll be incredibly difficult to integrate into society. Intelligence is almost useless without proper social skills. I should know because I was homeschooled from kindergarten all the way through high school before I went to college and I was very shy and quiet. It's been hard growingoutof it.
i feel really sorry for him. there will b no one to marry him if he goes on like this forever. this is one of the reasons that i will never homeschool my children

kids that are home schooled do meet lots of other kids, there are lots of groups and classes that home schoolers can do. Usually they have an umbrella program that they do 2 days a week that is almost like regular school. I'm home schooled also, and I knew him.
