Thanks Nick for posting. I didn't get a chance to watch this on TV. Very informative. I think the title should have been "State your position" rather than debate. They did however touch on the topics out here. I personally agree with all of them on some things and disagree with all of them other things. I liked the doctors approach to some issues. He clearly defined liberty means just that. You can't force a person to do the right thing. You however can remove the public punishment.

Here's something y'all probably didn't hear about today (the day after the GOP debate in Orlando) because the media continues not to cover Ron Paul:
Fox's website had a poll up right after the debate that asked 'Who Won the Debate?' Ron Paul was in first with 39% and Mitt Romney in second with 23%. Over 70k votes were cast. Fox News removed the poll later and claimed separately that Mitt Romney won the debate. -.-

Santorum on Obamacare: he disagrees with a broad entitlement for all Americans to healthcare, and he says that it goes against people's right to freedom; I don't really understand how it affects the freedom of the people - this may be a simplified view of it and I don't have much information on it, but it seems to be a modified version of the NHS. I don't think you'd find many people in the UK who view the NHS as infringing on their freedom. Correct me, I just can't understand the argument..

Does welfare create poverty - or does the non-elite owning less and less wealth create poverty? The bottom 80% went from 20% of total financial wealth to 7%. The removal of income tax from the top brackets (who own 93% of our wealth already) will NOT help THAT.

The others should research some political and military strategy. They are boobs and would cause more war and unrest than they would prevent. Thanks Nick for posting. I didn't get a chance to watch this on TV. Very informative. I think the title should have been "State your position" rather than debate. They did however touch on the topics out here. I personally agree with all of them on some things and disagree with all of them other things. I liked the doctors approach to some issues. He clearly defined liberty means just that. You can't force a person to do the right thing. You however can remove the public punishment.

You know that thing that happened in France during 1789-1799? I have a feeling something along those lines is going to happen very soon in the U.S.
The saddest thing is that Obama has some promising paperwork that has been denied by republicans, and they accuse him of doing nothing (well thats why). Congress needs reform badly. As for the candidates, huh... Good Luck the United States of China, don't bet on making english your first language...

Bad idea. Science should not be left to popular opinion of the people living in the school district. Facts are facts. Choosing what constitutes a fact via a vote will retard the education of our children.

Let's put it this way: I KNOW for a fact that Jesus/God exists because I have TWO-WAY (Yes, I said TWO-WAY!! He's THAT 100% REAL!) conversations with Him all the time: And you can't have a TWO-WAY conversation with someone who doesn't exist, now can you? That would be a ONE-WAY conversation, now wouldn't it?!

@cyberman2 My apologies to you, my schizophrenic friend, allow me to clarify my point: Science requires empirical evidence. In other words, evidence that can be physically tested by any third party. Yes, I'm sure you and God have two-way communication (just like Andrea Yates), but that would not be empirical evidence as there is no way to physically prove such a communication takes place. And we should not be teaching one man's beliefs in a public school.

When I tell you that I, myself, as well as millions of other born-again Christians all have the same two-way communications with Jesus, that only proves one thing: That WE'RE NOT crazy (But hey! They thought Jesus was crazy, & He was not only NOT crazy, He was RIGHT!!), but that Jesus is REAL!!! Let me ask you another question: What force is it that keeps the molecules in an atom from flying apart? I mean, where is it from?

Just because an idea is popular does not make it true. Millions of people are Muslim, does that make their religion true? Islam is projected to outnumber Christianity in the near future, are you planning to convert to Islam because that's what millions of other people believe? 'Believing' is not the same as 'knowing'.
