Gimme a tip please!

During the staccato notes, it seems that you take the bow a little bit out of violin. Is it that?

In this video, I do not take the bow off the string. It is possible to do this. By the time the student reaches this piece he/she should have learned the spiccato stroke and could use it on the eighth notes. Ideally this piece would be learned both ways. Good luck!
