I got this movie from Best Buy for only $10.

I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. I read a lot of reviews bashing this movie, but I quite enjoyed it. This is more of a War/Romance movie (not a Kung Fu movie).

I don't care what everyone else says, but I love the battles that they show. It's a nice & quick look at Ancient Warfare in China. You can even see the war chariots of old.

Also, don't watch the English dub. It sounds cheesy. Watch it in Chinese.

This movie shouldn't promo itself as Donnie Yen!! I personally feel that he's not connect or in the film throughout...although it did start out pretty ok until the Empress disappear. In my opinion, COULD be Better...I have seen Kelly act and the role in this film is not for her. I didn't enjoy the movie it at all. It was a pretty lousy film from beginning to end....nothing interesting/new.

Just watched it and i'd give it a 8.5 rating. Donnie is the man and I loved the costumes. The storyline was just a bit off for me even though it WAS nice and all. What did it for me was when Donnie kicked some ass near the end. I WANT THAT LONG SWORD HE HAS! ahaha

Lmaoo in the beginning of the actual movie, when those ugly things like jump from a cliff into that lake or w/e the empress was cleaning her horse in, the water was brown at the surface. Also, it was shallow because she was standing in it. Then all of a sudden she dives underneath and the water is really REALLY blue and it looks as if its like 30 feet deep. Then they resurface and they stand in the water. I just thought I'd point that out.
