Laetrile is the trade name for laevo-mandelonitrile-beta-gluc­uronoside, it is registered with the U.S. Patent Office for the treatment of "disorders of intestinal fermentation." Amygdalin, a substance found naturally in the pits of apricots and various other fruits. Most for the treatment of cancer use the terms "Laetrile" and amygdalin interchangeably. It was tried as an anticancer agent in Germany in 1892, but was discarded as ineffective and too toxic for that purpose.

Amygdalin (C20H27NO11), is a glycoside isolated from the seeds of the tree Prunus dulcis, Since the early 1950s, a modified form of amygdalin has been promoted under the names laetrile and "Vitamin B17" as a cancer cure, but it is not a vitamin, and studies have found it to be ineffective and potentially toxic as a possible cause of cyanide poisoning.The promotion of laetrile to treat cancer has been described in the scientific literature as a canonical example of quackery,

Cancer is a chronic, metabolic disease whose only preventive & cure is Amygdalin {vitamin B17}. This substance is found in the seeds of the roscea family of fruits, as well as broad-leaf grasses. Cancer struck 3% of 19th century Americans. The rate for us is nearly 50%. Yet, the majority of Americans remain woefully/willfully ignorant as they subject themselves to the barbarity of cut, burn & poison for a disease that is no more than a vitamin deficiency malady akin to scurvy & pellagra.

The use of embryonic stem cells to grow any kind of cells required is useful but this involves the destruction of an embryo to create them.

Whether the taking of these cells from an intact embryo results in its death or not could have a moral dimension.

Also, the effective application of taking tumor cells and using them to cause tumor cells can already be developed into a deliverable WMD.

No wonder military agencies around the world are now all on alert and actively looking into this

I know that many young people don't look at this kind of stuff, but this was pretty cool lot's of interesting things that i yet have not learned.
