The French juniors gained a lot from this hammering. The USA juniors gained less from beating a physically smaller and less technical team some 3 divisions under the US level. It's all about developing the sport and it's not the NFL as razmataz as it is that does the grass roots in Europe. It's the local European folk who train hard and pay for transport , equipment just to play. I played in France for 12 years and was French chapion 2 x out of 3 finals so i know a bit about the European scene.

They won in the 2008 Global Challenge Bowl, and also beat the US Hawaiian team a while back. I haven't kept up with recent scores, but to my knowledge, those are the only wins that I can find so far. I was only aware of the 2008 victory. Search up the 2008 Global Challenge Bowl USA vs Japan here on youtube, or search for the same thing on google, you'll find it under the link that has the japanese times in it. Their record this year isn't looking too shabby either.

i like seeing other countries play man. thats pretty cool. but they could REALLY step up their game if they were more physical. the reason for those long runs was because the defensive linemen weren't doing anything more than standing up and putting their arms out. they'll learn in time.

@cornfednebraskaneer The French is a main reason we survived. Yes, guerrilla warfare was key but that can only help on land. The British had the best Navy at the time and they were bearing down on us and we would have been finished. This is where the French stepped in. Their Navy was able to hold off the British and allow the Americans (and some French troops yes they fielded some ground troops as well) to use their advantage. The British put more focus on their Navy than their Army anyway.
I got mad respect for the French. Good on them for trying. As an American, I am ashamed by some of these comments by fellow Americans displaying some just underclass conduct.

If you watched the US vs the World game, the US was pretty lucky in the ending of the fourth quarter-they really did fumble the ball, and the world team recovered, but the refs ruled he was down by contact, and since there are no replays at this level, it wasn't turned over like it should have been. It would have been all tied up at 21.

When basketball was first started, very few countries that excelled at it, but today many different countries play it. It was a pretty good game, ending in the world team with a hail mary, which was knocked down by a US player. It could have been caught to bring the game into overtime if it wasn't knocked down. We may see a surprising score next year's game. Respect for all playing countries who played.

i like seeing other countries play man. thats pretty cool. but they could REALLY step up their game if they were more physical. the reason for those long runs was because the defensive linemen weren't doing anything more than standing up and putting their arms out. they'll learn in time.

Now if anybody should remember that if it wasn't for the aid from the French we wouldn't exist as a nation. Many people from differing nations have aided us but France was one of the few countries that openly said we're going to support the USA during the American Revolution. In the battle of Yorktown the British were getting their ass kicked by us and were going to get on the ships and head back to England and regroup and they were going to come back and slaughter us. @Konformation07 They helped us because they were at war with the British in Europe - it's really no surprise. I'll admit the French did help us in some ways, but we changed the style of warfare with large-scale guerilla tactics, and the Redcoats were entirely unprepared and out-manned.

The British had the best Navy at the time and they were bearing down on us and we would have been finished. This is where the French stepped in. Their Navy was able to hold off the British and allow the Americans (and some French troops yes they fielded some ground troops as well) to use their advantage. The British put more focus on their Navy than their Army anyway.

@nightknight93 It's understandable for such a large loss. I can guarantee that within the next 10 years, France will be a real competitor for the US. If you watched the US vs the World game, the US was pretty lucky in the ending of the fourth quarter-they really did fumble the ball, and the world team recovered, but the refs ruled he was down by contact, and since there are no replays at this level, it wasn't turned over like it should have been. It would have been all tied up at 21.

When basketball was first started, very few countries that excelled at it, but today many different countries play it. It was a pretty good game, ending in the world team with a hail mary, which was knocked down by a US player. It could have been caught to bring the game into overtime if it wasn't knocked down. We may see a surprising score next year's game. Respect for all playing countries who played.

If you didn't understand my earlier comment, I was making a comparison of when basketball was first started, and how very few countries excelled at it, and I went on to say that other countries can really compete with the US, and this is what will happen with American football. There are already many countries playing it, it'll be only a matter of time before other countries will out-compete the US in it

The combination of brute strength, speed, size, technique and strategy is something far different from any other sport, including rugby. It would be 100 years or more before any other country could put together a team that would beat the American Super Bowl champs.

I understand that American Football is not big in your country but if you guys would keep working hard and having a positive thinking that you would beat the US next time you meet then you my friend would have a big shot of getting a scholarship into a D1 colleges in the NCAA. Did you guys know that the Final score of this game was 78-0.. USA played all their subs in the whole second half lol. I hate to say this but this is like watching a grown man against little kids. France just look too slow and very weak. France OL just collapses after the snap. You can be a weak lineman but if you have the right proper technique of blocking then you can stop the DL any time. I don't think that I have ever seen a game like this. Hopefully France would get it together next time.

And rugby.... We have a rugby team that travels you idiot haha.. It's just that rugby sucks in America because it's just like soccer.. Watching guys running around is pointless. It takes no brain. No pads= less impact due to the fact that you limit yourself from hitting hard so you wont get hurt yourself. With pads however= collision. that's when you watch AF clips you see guys flying 5yards when they are being tackled. And that is why we have 54 players total due to injuries.What an idiot haha

lol.. dude.. I played soccer when I was in High School and YES I do suck at soccer. I would only claim myself good if I'm a pro soccer player but I'm not. Are you a pro soccer player? I don't think you are so I think you suck at soccer as well lol. I'm alright at football but I play Lacrosse for Duke University with scholarship. If you come to USA there aren't that many people that likes soccer. When you go to a soccer game here you would see more Mexican fans more than Americans.

o Salario q o Cristiano Ronaldo,Kaka ganha e salario de atleta mediano nesses 3 esporte Americano,existe em torno de 120 atletas da NBA,NFL,MLB q tem salario superior ao do C.Ronaldo e Kaka.

It's the most partiipated sport in the world hence the standard is harder than any other sport.

argh for the last time i don't hate your country, i can just see why people do. i agree that the salary capping is a possibility, as players like CR are goin for 80m to Real Madrid who are basically funded by the king of spain, and he's now on 180k a week, but it ain't gonna happen properly.
There's not zero competition, the last season was one of the most exciting ever. i think draft system would absolutely ruin football.
