In the cbt we do tell novices to dominate the road position yes. You have to understand the CBT is just that Compulsory Basic Training. We do explain road position for bends and touch on vanishing points but we are more concerned with observation . New riders have enough to think of without the complications of taking bends at speed. Remember a CBT rider will only ever be on a 125 at most . When we teach DAS we go into vanishing points and entry and exit points in detail.

But isn't the middle of the lane where oil and schmutz accumulates? Potential of losing road grip, esp. during a drizzle.

Concurr. Lots of Clipping the apex and the lines were not opening up the view point and so on and so on. The sound is stuffed too.
