what people need to understand is that the front wheels going over a vertical wall is not the same as the vehicle going up a vertical incline. when the front wheels are on top of the wall, the climb angle at that point is somewhere between 35 and 45 degrees. don't mean to say that any vehicle can do what this car did or that even 45 degrees climb is easy for a lot of cars, but at least people should stop thinking about a hummer in this mythical way.

@millakilla actually its illegal for the military to sell the humvees that have been sent to war. the ones civilians are able to buy are from the national guard that have been kept in america safe at base. the military, like clock work, maintains and services their humvees VERY regularly, far more than the average hummer owner would. the only time they get rid of one isnt because its banged up its because they get a fresh new one and have to make space.
