  • You're all making fools of yourselves. This is obviously not a tegu. Damn, makin yourselves look like idiots. Anybody with a brain would take one look at this lizard and know for a fact that it is indeed a fire breathing ancient dragon of legendary status. Wow guys, just wow. It's obviously the same dragon that Merlin created. Pfft.

  • thats a tegu

  • Thats soooo a tegu

  • yep, i say it's a tegu. for one thing, it has a forked tongue, and i'm not sure how many lizards have those (monitors, maybe ameivas). But the funny thing is--the uploader TAGGED the video as TEGU!! Although besides that, nice videography- very clear picture.

  • nope thats a chocoan 100% sure they loose the green as the get older,

  • what makes you think that its a chacoan specifically ,why not an argentine black and white tegu

  • duh, they both are born with green heads, i have a regular b&w and a chocoan the chocoan IS a b&w that through selective breeding is whiter and bigger

  • Tegu

  • thats cocoan gigant tegu i think

  • thats a arg b&w tegu baby

  • It is a b&w tegu as said, I'm Argentinian and we know them by "lagarto overo" or "iguana overa", not much as "tegus" maybe that's why he said it was a "largato" instead of a "tegu", he just didnt know the difference. =)

  • def a tegu!

  • definatly a b&w tegu. Juvinile have green heads

  • ... the video name should be... Lagarto (it is a tegu)

black and white argentine tegus have green heads when young!

  • yea bro i've been to brazil and they call that same lizard teguacu (sorry i have no idea how to spell it my Portuguese is horrible)

  • duh . . . . tegu

  • GUYS!! thats a baby B+W argentine tegu. they are green when first born look on melissa kaplan. she has legit photos.

  • yeap, b&w tegu!

  • holy fuck people think about it, a tegu is a common lizard in south america, this is not a true B&W but a wild tegu morph or sub .speciecs, but never the less its a fucking tegu

  • This IS an Argentinian Black and White Tegu because he has 2 lines on his neck.He look a little bit stressed...do you manipulate him sometime?

  • he's stressed out.

  • well duh that most likely is a wild animal that just came in somones yard.

  • omgotz your idiot. b&w are from Argentine. There for being an Argentine B&W loser.

  • That is most definatley a juvinile Argintine Black and White Tegu, The green is seen on all baby B&W's untill around 3-4 months then they start growing out of it, and yes that tegu is very untame, mine at that age was just fine.

  • cor calm down u lot!

  • That is so an argentine black and white tegu

  • Very pretty lizzard but untame. Is this breed naturally unsocial or was he just not tamed at a young age?

  • that IS an argentine black and white tegu. you can tell by the two loreal scales between the nostril scale and its eye. the columbians only have one. Argentine tegus are born with green heads and it starts to fade after one month of age

  • its not a black& white argentine. ive owned own since it was little and the coloring they have when young is nothing like that. the feet and pattern on the body is similar tho.

  • that means yours arent chacoan

  • oh i see.

  • theres no such thing as mexican tegu , for your info that is an black and white argetine tegu

  • I've never seen one like that before! Really pretty!

  • lagarto is just a way of saying big lizard like a tegu or monitors in south america & thats a freaking tegu not argentinian maybe mexican or brazilian

  • I meant colombian or brazilian

  • that lizard looks amazing!

  • Yup, that's a gorgeous little baby Tupinambis merianae - Argentine Black and White Tegu. It's too bad he's so head-shy.

  • I´´m from argentina, and this really really look like a young angentinian black and white tegu

  • and what is that a what? cause thats shows tegu all over it . . . is it a lagarto? is that what your calling it cuz for a common lizard theres definetly no info about a lagarto except that its a city in brazil. looks like an argentine black and white tegu with neo-natal colors

  • Yeah, that is a Tegu, an Argentine, though I can't positively tell if its a Red or a White, its probably a White. Hatchlings have that green, they lose it after a few weeks, this one is particularly young due to the fullness of the green, it fades to brown and disappears as they get older.

  • Thats not an Argentine... more especificaly a Brazilian Black and White =P

They are quite common and some people eat them in Brazil.

  • It IS in fact a tegu, I lived in Brazil before and they are fairly common in some regions, although, not in all of them, I would give this little guy little more than a month of age...

  • baby back and white tegus are green on their heads

  • It looks very much like a tegu. But which type, I do not know. I've heard that they're pretty smart by the way...

  • Very common lizard here in Bazil, my cat it captured and I saved him of the malice of the cat.

  • Wow. That is a beautiful lizard. What is is?
