@TehParadocks "best" - for what kind of things? As we all know there is no ultimate overall "best" in the world of eve. Sure minmatar ships are very fast and that certainly is a good advantage over others. But once trapped they can hardly stand against amarr armour or caldari shield. The outcome would depend on the fit and experience, but its true that Minmatar ships don't have a single line of type tank. One is for shields, one for armour. but their sensor strenghts are comapativelly weak.

@Fredfredbug4 it says in the description of the races' navies (in minmatar case the fleet) that amarr has almost twice the size of any two other fleets combined, but amarr ships are mostly obsolete and therefore worthless, although caldari fleet is the smallest but most advanced technology wise and "most experts believe" it's the most powerful or whatever. i forgot bout gallente and minmatar cause i don't play eve for like 2 months now. anyway generally i hate amarr, but i like their ships :)

@LoveLessaeris That weapon was destroyed almost as soon as it was used. Afterward millions of slaves were liberated. The surviving Minmatar fleet won every battle and were it not for CONCORD intervention, probably would of flown all the way to the Amarr homeworld.

Doesn't matter if you don't need to buy ammo as much, Minmatar ammo is cheap and doesn't require any cap.

The Minmatar and Caldari should have great relations, the only reason they can't work together is because the Minmatar don't seem to realise that the Caldari can help them much better than the Gallente.

They should join in the war against them even, the Gallente are suppressing many of their kind, like they tend to do with all 'newcomers'. Unfortunately that means all people who aren't Gallente-born.

Minmatar ships and equipment is optimized for skirmish warfare, quckly come in, do as much damage as possible from little to medium distances, and quickly warp off - thats all. Caldari ships and weapons are optimized to stand their ground in fleet ops from EXTREME ranges. No minmatar battleship has a range bonus like Rokh have! In sniping RANGE is what matters, THEN comes damage. And if you compare the advanced large ammunition caldari have better damage dispersion across 2 types than minmatar!

But yes missiles you're good at I'll give you that. But coming from a 4 year player who PLAYS minmatar, no caldari player snipes in the real pvp fights

@Fancypants117 I tell you something... go and search in evelopedia: 1200mm Artillery Cannon II -> optimal range: 38.64 km, 425mm Railgun II -> Optimal Range 57.60 km thats for the optimal ranges, now fall off: arty cannon: 35km compared to 24km of Large 425mm Railgun 2, lets sum it up mmkay? 38.64+35=73.64km for minmatar, 57.60+24=81.6km for Caldari. In your opinion weapon that has smaller total and optimal range is a better sniping tool? Dude please don't make me laugh ok?

Amarr is the hardest race? No way, Minmatar is. With the minni's you need:

Shield skills

Armour skills

Drone skills

Missile skills

Projectile skills

and to a lesser extent speed skills.

And you need all of them to make a viable group of ships to fly, PVE or PVP. But if you have good skills in those areas, its awesome :)

Hardly applies anymore. To be fair, Amarr is likely to be the 'hardest' race to play as skill-need wise, however Gallente, Minmatar and Amarr all have a wide series of skills they MUST have and things they have got to consider when PVP'ing. Caldari can cut that list in half and get away with it.
