Wouldn't this mean that america is buying and selling people and parts of people? I mean the stock exchange lets you buy pieces of a corporation and corporations are people.
You're so right! This reasoning works for corporations in all their developing stages. If corporations are killed while working and making a profit, it's simply murder. Ending the life of a corporation that's slowly drifting towards bankruptcy could be seen as euthanasia, which is also high on the priority-list of the pro-lifers. If corporations are people it's immoral to end their lives. If that is not the case, corporations aren't people. They can't have it both ways.
An abortionist? No, more like a serial rapist and mass murderer. Take over a "person" against their will, do as he pleases with them and leave a bloody corpse behind. All the while enjoying the sense of power it gives him.
@leptonsoup337 The SCOTUS also said it's not a 1st Amendment violation for Congress to pass a law making monotheistic mottos specifically promoting a religious idea. Clearly the SCOTUS makes mistakes.
Although I doubt this will happen, if Der Mittenfuhrer aka. the Job Cremator somehow wins the election in November, I may move to Canada.

@satanisthetruegod666 Hey, I just had a thought. If corporations are people, wouldn't mergers be a threat to traditional marriage?

@62netty Eventually all corporations will be absorbed into one giant corporation, kinda like the Highlander of Corporations.

Corporations can own other corporations. So, shouldn't people be able to own other people? I think Alabama would be fine with that.

@berniebay LOL! Good point. I wonder if somebody could use the 13th amendment as an argument against the Citizen's United decision.
