Really good! :) I also started to play this but didnt finish it yet. :(

I play good but my learing lasts really long because I cant read the notes so fast, but thats not the main problem. Somehow it's complicated for me to play as I read the notes - I just memorize the notes and play without looking on the sheets. :(

Do you have a tip for me how I could improve my learning or at least to speed it up? I would really appreciate a reply. :)

Is there a proper way to do glissandos? Because i find them really painful >.>

@PhobiaPhobo There are several ways to execute them, and it really depends on what you prefer. I prefer to use the back of my right thumb when I do a glissando down the keyboard, like in this video. Likewise, I use the back of my left thumb when I do a glissando up the keyboard. Black keys.... are a completely different story. No matter what way you find to do, it's always going to be painful. I've actually peeled off several layers of skin and got blood on the piano from black key glissandos ><

@PhobiaPhobo Grow out your fingernails on the fingers that are closest in length, usually the ring and middle, or index and middle. It's sort of a "wiping away" motion. Try to angle your fingers and hand so the bit of skin that grows on your fingernails doesn't touch the keys. I hope this helps. Of course, practice helps.

@PhobiaPhobo I learnt how to do glissando's from watching none other than Jerry Lee Lewis. He uses the top of the nail of his thumb. It takes practice to get the pressure right but it stop it from being painful. Hope this helps.
