I bought and it sucked big balls -_- Like wtf the graphics sucks and it is so fake you cant even knock them around to a different type of map and they ,made Zangief the biggest Fuck nut in the game 1 grab he does over and voer and over again then lets go to story mode the animation sucked and the story practically made no sense and the fighting style was cheesy and kinda unpredictable this game is not worth 59.99 its worth like what 17.99 -_-

I understand your opinion, and to the naked eye it may seem like you're right. However there is so much depth in Street Fighter that it's insane. It's a game of skill, and out thinking your opponent. Most top level SF players don't even play other games. Maybe a few other fighting games, but they're not your typical gamers is what I mean. It's as competetive as you can get in gaming.

Its all about gameplay. Sometimes you don't want all that fluff, just some good ol' 1 on 1 asskicking action. Its actually a very deep game, the depth comes from learning and using tactics to gain a victory. Not every game needs to reinvent the wheel with each iteration.

There is technical limitations you tard. This game started development in in late 05'/early 06'. The hardware it was running off of is early 360 tech. At the time, graphics had limitations, and for something that combines really good cell shading and a balanced gameplay system, you had to make some sacrifices. I thought 1 UC and 1 SC sucked ass, but, they are fixing it in the next SF.

the games pretty cool but the difficulty level is ridiculous, and ruined the experience for me a little. i wanted 2 complete the game as Ryu but after literally 15 or more goes i changed character and ended up beating seth with Sagat. Medium mode should offer a reasonable learning curve for average gamers instead this chucks u in at the deep end. seth and Zangief in Particular have very cheap moves that are endlessly repeated.

dont be dishartend though on the whole the game is badass! 8.5/10

i love a challenge to, i dont mind losing a few times as long as i can work out what i was doing wrong to lose but in this there are certain moves which seem unavoidable. i think some of the difficulty stems from the 360 controller which i find dont work so well with fighters, u can get a joy-pad though.

I got it for the xbox 360 and it really is a great game, unlocked most the characters on the first day, not cuz its short but cuz its so addictive.lol let us know what ya think of it. :)

Probably the moves you are associating are throws? or things that can usually be done once a character immediately goes up, therefore if Ryu or Ken Sakura etc.. use shoryuken immediately and that will reflect the incoming throw or attk and this game has been tested for balance FOR A LONG time, arcades in japan etc so each fighter has their own deflection move or whatchamutcallit

Seth is spam like and annoying as hell for the last boss..and people like abel they do nothing but grab you so you have to play ranged a lot with someone people with their AI. Any old street fighter fan would know how to easily deflect the 2 characters moves, not only so but all chars are different meaning different learning curves and abilities and weakness and there is a Trial mode for a reason to teach you how to make combos, and if you are new to street fighter don't do Medium go to Easy or even lower and that is only the arcade version and Zangief and Seth's repetitive moves are probably easily countered you should learn how to play before bashing the game

yeh but the "any old street fighter" argument is part of the problem, medium which is sposed to be normal difficulty should appeal to an audience who might not be an old street fighter fan, the original was out about 18 years ago now. and while it is sensible to keep the move roster the same the AI should also be balanced so that it appeals to the potentially new audience. That way experienced players can move up a difficulty level to suit them.

Hmm...I actually tried the game, and the game wasn't lived up to the hype, gameplay was mad slow, like SF III. Also, it had similarities to Super Street Fighter II Turbo. They did however, add a little from the EX series. Also, the input was slow as well. But overall, I'd rate it 7/10 for SF IV. Though I liked playing it despite making a bad comment about it.
