The more you sing, the more likely you are to have control of your voice. Also this is kind of assuming that you have proper technique down. Improper technique and years of singing won't get you too far. But look at it like... every time your sitting down singing or practicing, your getting better. i don't mind when you sing high, but when you jump octaves at least four times in one verse it becomes pain on the ears. great singing regardless and the guitar playing was flawless.

I trained my voice to sound like Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge without mixing the two, AND I am getting pretty close to Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember.... experiment with your voice.... dont get me wrong it sounds great but once you watch the rest of ur vids and then watch this it's not that impressive
@TheTreacherousTrevor You do realize using your voice to sound like someone else is not natural nor actually recommended or good for your vocals in any shape or form? @TheTreacherousTrevor You do realize using your voice to sound like someone else is not natural nor actually recommended or good for your vocals in any shape or form? I mean sure I can see your point, but if someone wants to hear Mark Hoppus sing, they just go and listen to Mark Hoppus sing.. The first 2 years when I first started singing I constantly tried to mimic the original singer, and its completely degenerative to finding your voice. I appreciate and understand your opinion though.

@TheUnbornBand I agree very much so with UnbornBand. He is right on the spot, I only have a small band of a group of friends and I know that not exactly trying to sound like the original artist, that's their voice, not yours. Find your voice and use it always.
