i think since she first met bill she was fascinated with him because he was a vampire but then after she met eric she starting developing stronger feelings for him than bill. and as eric slowly lets her in she starts to fall in love with his thoughtfullness and hottie bodie.
I respect the series for attempting to make the series a different but not too much so... (cause you know it would be slightly boring to watch a direct translation of the books) though I agree with many people on here.. bill is portrayed way to much like a perfect man such as Mr. Sparkle Pants (Edward) Great job ^-^
I despise how they've portrayed Bill and Eric in the show. Bill looks like the good guy, that staked Long Shadow for her, and is always there for her. 1) Eric staked that bastard. 2) Bill's a wanker in the books. They're trying to make Bill waaaay better in the show >:(
I know exactly how you feel... In the shows, they portrait Bill as a goody vampire that does no wrong...arggg. They should stick more to the books regarding Eric and Sookie's relationship, and also portrait Eric closer to the way his character was written, not completely detached as he is being presented up to now... I hope they include Eric's stay at Sookie's house... that would be hot!

@wlowi28 I think Bill is still a liar in the show, but I think they're slowly building up to Sookie realizing it. Even in the books, it took her awhile to figure it out.
What's going on os that Bill is history. In the novels she breaks up with Bill because he was unfaithful and that's when Eric comes to live with Sookie and he has no memory. In other words he shows a different Eric and Sookie falls in love but in the series it hasn't happened YET.
