  • omg this computer sucks i mean it lags the video like shit! or maybe its youtube ur choise!

  • What movie is it at 2:28?

  • @winfr34k It's called "Coraline"

  • @grinsomnia thx

  • In this case 1920x800 is fullhd due to the two black bars. Many 720p films have less than 720 (i.e. 544) because of the same reason.

  • εγω μολις το αγορασα :)

  • dune hdi or a nettop?

  • φιλε λεω να το αγορασω αλλα μπορει να παικσει αρχεια mkv με το vlc στα 1080p σε μια 42 ιντσων samsung τηλεωραση?

  • 1280x544 ain't 720p and your 1080p is not with 1920x1080 but 1440x1080, 1920x800 isn't 1080p either.

Come on, just get real 720p / 1080p samples!

Otherwise it's senseless... But ion is ja great platform for hd and "lite gaming"..

Could you test some overclocking and games ?

    Kind regards!

  • 1920x800 is not 1080p

  • My final question is regarding Flash video. HD flash video proves far too much work for Single-core machines like the Acer Aspire Revo. How does the AS 330 hold up when playing flash HD content?

  • 1) CoreAVC Codecs and Cuda Enabled

    2) Under Windows only with launchplayer technique for the time being. Under Linux no problem

    3) Check the video. There is a flash hd test, it's not 100% smooth but it's watchable

  • Thanks for your replies.

Regarding answer number 2 where you mention using launchplayer.. just to be clear, you are using this technique in the video? Or are you just letting XBMC handle the video - it wasn't clear from the video.

Answer number 3. Sorry, I should have noticed! Thanks!

  • I have a couple of questions:

    1) When using MPC to play the 1080 MKV files, do you have any other codecs installed on the AsRock apart from the basic windows setup?

    2) Slightly dissapointing to see xbmc lag with the 1080 video (even slightly noticeable in the 720 also). But probably to be expected!

    - you have probably heard of the LaunchPlayer technique? (to play a vid using MPC,launched from XBMC)

    - there is also the option of using XBMCLive, to make use of VDPAU. Making 1080p video perfect.

  • Looks good! Still havent brought it to work with my Asrock 330-BD and Ubuntu because of there's no sound over HDMI :( . May i get Windows 7!?

  • axizei to kopo to asrock ion 330? i na perimenw akoma ligo gia kapoio neo montelo?
