ur well good with that., ii alright seen as ii only used an outdoor one once but we have an indoor one and ii can fly that through doorways up the stairs., bassically around the house. :L =D
I'm getting in the habit of trying out new moves over thick grass or weeds.
That pavement is just the worst impact a heli can experience. If you were in a park with grass and soil then that crash probably would have been half the cost or less. If you had thick weeds, you might have only bent a flybar and scuffed up the blades. :)
You're beyond the need for the training gear. At this point, they can reinforce bad habits like looking at the training balls for orientation instead of the nose or blades.
Training gear are only good for the first few days of tentative "hopping" up and down with the heli. After that, they're useless guarding against any crash over 2 feet off the ground.
Alternatively, you could find a place with pavement parking for take offs/landings but fly over the grass or weeds. But ditch the gear.
Thanks for the advice, i will try without the gear, next time i will fly here again because to the rigfht(not visible) is a quite big open field, but with high grass.
gutted mate but you was doin really well till you got overconfident and let it get away from ya ;) bringin it back into line will be easy to do soon ;) 5*
