It's a shame whats happening in the UK. I live on the Eastern Half of the United States. Hurting your own community by burning buildings, looting from the shops, and rioting against the police is horrible. It only makes your city poor. The citizens would have to pay for the damage (through taxes like in the US?). The chavs need to relize stealing things just hurts you and the communtity which overall infects everybody. I pray that you all are safe and that this ends soon.

I know a few people like this. A few years ago, some people were trown out of an old building that they had taken some years before. They didn't own this property, but they felt they did. And they wouldn't buy it either. It resulted in them getting flushed out, and a few thousand went batshit crazy and set cars on fire, smashed buildings and such, like in London. All this because they were thrown out of a building they didn't own -.-

There's no justification for anything the rioters are doing, but you don't riot unless there are underlying problems, socially and economically. The prospects for this generation are worse than ever before, fewer jobs, rising food prices, global warming, all these issues are being rammed down our throat by the media, and although the rioters don't articulate it, they wouldn't be rioting if wealth was equally distributed in this country.
