i was a medic for 2-2 INF First Infantry Division in early 2004. Army, not a marine. U.S Marines use the M16A4, Ive seen Captains and Lt's use the M4A1 and the AR-15. There isnt a g36 here, because that is not an Official Weapon for the U.S Military, it was created in germany, BlackWaters Ops do use the g36 but thats because they are a private group. Also Special Forces use the g36 also. Americans use the M240 as a machine gun, M60 as a post gun and the 50 cal. the 60 and 50 are way to heavy for Marines to take to missions, they can but they choose not too. they use the M240 Saw

Stockpiling weapons doesn't leave any profits for the war supplying companies. When economies are in slumps, wars can be started and production ramps up to meet the demand of wartime goods needed. Population is "controlled", profits are made, and after effects are amazing when its done right. I'm biased towards the US Army since I'm an US citizen but before private contractors ran our military.

i was a medic for 2-2 INF First Infantry Division in early 2004. Army, not a marine. I spent 13 months all over Iraq. 13 of my 38 were killed. 4 left with missing body parts... just about each one of us was hit at least once. shrapnel, GSW, ricochets even! back then it seemed pretty dangerous. i guess it all boils down to what job you got. infantry is gonna get the most KIAs.... while cooks, mechanics, and supply clerks could go a year without stepping foot off a base or even loading their M-16

U.S Marines use the M16A4, Ive seen Captains and Lt's use the M4A1 and the AR-15. There isnt a g36 here, because that is not an Official Weapon for the U.S Military, it was created in germany, BlackWaters Ops do use the g36 but thats because they are a private group. Also Special Forces use the g36 also. Americans use the M240 as a machine gun, M60 as a post gun and the 50 cal. the 60 and 50 are way to heavy for Marines to take to missions, they can but they choose not too. they use the M240 Saw

marines only use the m16a2 and m4 (not the m4a1). only MARSOC operatives have access to the g36, or any non-standard-issue weapon, and i assure you there is little to no footage of them in combat.

These appear to be SOLDIERS, not Marines.
Marines have Desert MARPAT, not the same Desert camo the Army uses.
And the Army has the patches on their uniforms, Marine Corps does not.

@13aaa13 yea I agree. but what you have to realise, is that we need large number of them, if it was considered a bussiness "company" (which it is) then it would be the largest bussiness ever existed! so keeping that in mind, you can't pay them all shit loads, cuz then you would not have as big of an army!! on top of that it costs alot to train them all, feed them food and resources! at the end of the day, they are numbers to the politicians! ready to enforce their policies abroad!

Well we can debate all day on whos the best military but that gets us nowhere. it can be put more on the US are becoming far too dependant on technology for my liking whilst the UK is trying to focus more on urban combat but the government since labour came in believed in stockpiles arn;t needed we can go pay as you go... bad move. the russians they fight in all terrains the french also focus on more urban sprawls yet in total you cant argue which is best all armys will be better at one thing

Stockpiling weapons doesn't leave any profits for the war supplying companies. When economies are in slumps, wars can be started and production ramps up to meet the demand of wartime goods needed. Population is "controlled", profits are made, and after effects are amazing when its done right. I'm biased towards the US Army since I'm an US citizen but before private contractors ran our military.
