This is the thing, if we would get out of the box, and go with the Spirit, then we would see revival. In the word of God it says that *He (The Lord) will take the foolish things of the world to confound the wise* and that is just Gods word so how can you argue anything. I see people writing comments bashing other people for doing things that are not to their standards, but lets face it it doesn't matter what anyone thinks...all that matters is what God thinks.

They are like Lifehouse....and there is nothing wrong here. It depends on how the song is portrayed. In alot of their songs I see beyond what the words are and can see the messages in them that God wants me to hear. Lifehouse is the same...neither of them have stated that they are a Christian band...they want to reach a broad group of people and let them do the interpreting.

To everyone: There is a Christian undertone, most of her first album was, but Amy specifically stated in an interview that that was not the full intent. Said it was a "Ben thing" (the guitarist who helped write her songs). She says they are not a Christian band but wants to appeal to a broad range of listeners. She says for her listeners to hear it the way they want to.

I believe that the recording lable for evanescence is a christian lable...i'm not sure though. I see nothing wrong with using this song for church....just like the lifehouse skit is very moving and powerful so is this one....

I believe it is a religious song. Just listening to the lyrics leaves that influence, i.e. "How can you see into my eyes like open doors..." "...Trapped in the dark but you were there in front of me..." etc

evanescence's ben moody was the main writer (he isnt in the band anymore, but he was when this song was made) he put alot of christian influence into the writing, especially the song 'tourniquet'. im not sure if this song has christian influence in it, but it wouldnt suprise me if it did considering ben moody wrote it.

I'm sorry these skits people put on to inspire people are stupid. No offense to anyone who like these. I am one of those people who were abuse, I cut, and all those other videos who say dont drink and dont do drugs. Honestly its hard not to, Weed makes you feel better about yourself, that is why I smoke it. I have bi-polar disorder and about 3 other types of un-diagnosed depressions. If I followed everything people say god wants us to do I'd be dead. I'm a juggalo, my god dont judge.
